I know this is an older video, but I think they recommend a different position for the guard now. Also - I'm not sure nitrile gloves will provide enough protection if the grinder hits your hand. I have Boers and use the chain disc. I wear cut resistant gloves because they sometimes struggle and kick hard while I'm caring for their feet.

We just bought the hoof boss for our goats as well. Actually going to get away from using clippers and go strictly with the hoof boss. We’ll see how it goes! Best to you and your goats! 🥰
