I felt this in my very soul, I took accountability for my part in my church hurt I should have gone with my intuition when I started seeing that the church I joined was not of God.

The average person experiences trauma through their childhood, parental, marital interactions. Then after these painful interactions they find a community of people they anticipate will help facilitate healing within their life. Once the already traumatized and hurt individual experiences any form of trauma within that community of spiritual people, then that community becomes responsible for all trauma related to their life no more Marital, Childhood, Parental, Self imposed hurts ONLY CHURCH HURT. You we're hurt before you got there. This is by no means excusing the mishandling of precious souls. Yet like Reid says..... BUTTUMM you CAME TO THAT CHURCH HURT ALREADY, KEEP IT REAL WITH YOURSELF THEY ARE NOT SOLEY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR LIFE LONG TRAUMA! THAT'S LIFE HURT, LIFE MISMANAGEMENT, SOME SELF HURT TOO.
Church is. Quagmire of carnality of folks walking in and after the flesh and not after the spirit. The carnal church is governed by the flesh and is not a safe environment. Many people walk into churches with a biblical perspective of loving one another, honoring one another , preferring one another and love God with all your heart and thy neighbor as thyself mentality. When folks start spreading lies about around the church and to the pastor and pastor come at you from the pulpit without investigating and the basic of all praying and seeking God about what they heard, then church hurt is sure to occur. Some folk leave quietly while others cuss everybody before they leave. It’s a sad day that we have to go to church and the first thing we got to do is assess your environment, assess the people, can’t open up and be transparent because somebody is going twist the narrative of your story. Pastor acting funny with you because he got a secret hater in his ear. Etc. as I say the quagmire of church carnality is what’s hurting the church and is causing church hurt…
