Jimmy Johnson delivers a FIERY speech to the Cowboys after lackluster first half vs. Packers
• Jimmy Johnson delivers... - Спорт
What do you think went wrong for the Cowboys in the first half?
EVERYTHING😂
They are getting their karma 😂
Jerry Jones!!
Everything, what can go wrong, will go wrong 😂
The easier question is what didn’t go wrong
Those guys are joking while Jimmy is about to have a heart attack
Good catch!!
Gotta love Jimmy. He lives for the Cowboys.
@@AmericanScout-USAjimmys teams owned the packers so slow down bucko.
@@ox4556 um...that was 30 years ago. Gas was about 80 cents a gallon.
@bartbutkis jimmy living for the cowboys is like turkeys voting for Thanksgiving
Poor Jimmy in his elderly age STILL has more fire than his whole former team. Just sad.
Definitely just pathetic
Hiring MM as a head coach was the pathetic thing to do. Aaron Rodgers was right when he said his former coach has a low football IQ.
You have no idea how much I would pay to hear our locker room before, at halftime, and after the game. There’s a point whereas an owner you need to be like “that was the worst half of play calling ive ever seen and as a coach you need to hold people accountable and let them know, “you are all playing like straight trash.”
And that's why they don't win anymore
All a fan can say is ain’t it a shame
This is why Jimmy is still beloved by all Dallas Cowboy fans. It warmed my heart to feel his passion and commitment to the blue. Keep living the dream coach. 😊❤️👍
That was embarrassing
It's a national telecast. Get that old Cowboy lover off the air
…….. that’s all it is ………a dream ……..

@@noodlesramen3137how was it embarrassing?
Jimmy Johnson, showing us... once a Coach, always a Coach!
But where was your coach?
This one hurt Jimmy, you can tell he's still a Cowboy at heart.
This was one of the greatest disappointments in Dallas history
Jimmy needed to be in the locker room with that speech, it might have helped. I was rooting for the home team.
My best guess is that Jimmy being over 80 is why he`s so upset, he wants to see the Boys win another SB before the inevitable end come`s. I`m old too but my Rams won another one before the end comes, 2022 SB 56 so I can die a happy man.
I don't blame Jimmy
I ain’t a c’boys fan but I highly respect JJ, he signify the old successful 90s Cowboys organization.
@@beewalk34 He just got inducted into the ring of honor a few weeks ago, so he absolutely was cheering for them this game.
He put his heart into that speech he really meant everything he said you can see it in his eyes 💯
You got that right
And for what????
They still got shellacked and humiliated in their home turf… Typical cowboys and typical cowboys fans … Never gets old…
@@La19930wow captain obvious
That was intense! Should have never let him go.
YES! He was in straight up Coach Mode. You could see it in his eyes, mainly, because he used to be the Cowboy coach. He knows that heads would have rolled before this game, so the team would not be in this predicament, if he were still coaching. I know he was irked by their performance.
Not a Cowboys fan but definitely moved by his passion for the game
As an Eagles fan and former player, it hurts watching an old coach (especially a great one) be so upset about how their team is playing the game.
@@Vucero pos oye !!!!!
this was so cringe lol down 27-0
@blakscot: It was cringe AF!... you sound like a simp.. lol
Putting the show on and filling his pockets.
Many of us older 49er fans hated Jimmy Johnson due to the fierce competition in the late 80s and early 90s , but we all respect him. We know not only is he a great coach and has great passion not only for football, but in his Dallas Cowboys. And this clip SHOWED THAT! Would we have loved a rematch with the Cowboys like the old days? Absolutely, as we all thought the Cowboys was going to handle business at home. In the end, we got to give credit to the Packers team for playing a great game, and we hope JJ can stay on FOX and broadcast there for a few more years.
I still remember when he told a Dallas radio station that they would beat the 49ers and the newspapers could print that in big letters. And the Cowboys did beat the Niners.
That swagger still annoys me.
He and Bill Walsh helped Charles Haley alot
I mean he was 1-15 in the late 80s. 😂 but yes in the 90s he was the GOAT
Keep in mind Jimmy is 80 years old. What a beast
Same age basically as Biden. Quite a difference in mental acuity
the fact you're impressed...shows you are not.
I would have ko’d anytime, anytime in life
youre trump lost. you no this! lol @@@randyborst7517
80 yes and the money he has behind him keeps him in the health he’s in.
I loved Aikman's comment on Jimmy's speech: "that's the guy I knew when he was in our locker room in Dallas". Aikman has said a number of times that the Jimmy you see on network pregame shows is a much more mellow guy compared to what he was like as a coach in Dallas, but Aikman says that speech wasn't Jimmy wasn't putting on an act, that was the old Jimmy kicking in.
For good reason
I have wondered that. Cause as a kid i was scared of Jimmy he looked like all business. They I got older and seen him on shows like this and have questioned was tht the same guy lol. This was the Jimmy I remember his look put fear in men. His words inspired them.
That’s the Real Coach they need tbh
Two people I believed were players coaches in the 60s one was Jimmy was one of them for sure that’s what they need fire MCcarthy hire Johnson Idc if it’s even as advisory board if he was on the sideline boi they wouldn’t be playing like they did
Jimmy has said that. He was tired of being the disciplinarian and the bad guy, but he understood it was his job.
As a Giants fan I was loving every second of the Cowboys demise, but I love Jimmy Johnson for this. He’s dead serious, that was the reawakening of a legend for a small moment in time.
I’m a 49ers fan but man that speech there gave me goosebumps.
I got chills when he did that... I wanted him to actually go into the Cowboy's locker room and get them going.
He might have made them all cry
Swear to god
For real
I wanted him to replace McCarthy right there
Bring Jimmy back, we need him in Dallas.
Can bring JJ back. But if Jerry Jones still hangs on as GM, team will always choke in the playoffs.
What does Jerry have to do with Dak throwing INTs and the defense getting torched?
About 20 years too late for that unfortunately
Dude is as old as Biden
That was embarrassing to be honest.
And that’s just what he could say on television??? 😳
Imagine what he was like in the locker room! No wonder they won all those Super Bowls.
Love ya Jimmy. You bought a lot of happiness to me as a young Dallas Cowboys fan.
Cherish the memory because that’s all your gonna have with the Jones boys owning them
I can't imagine how much frustration this man is suffering from truly
If I was JIMMY i would sit back, grab a CIGAR, and enjoy the decline of the DALLAS COWBOYS telling everyone, "When I was there, we won 2 super bowls, and my guys won another one when I was NO LONGER THERE"!!! Such JUSTICE WATCHING JERRY JONES suffer from his CATASTROPHIC DECISION to TERMINATE MY EMPLOYMENT 30 years ago!!!
@@redpill1977but Jimmy doesn’t even enjoy it because he wants the players to succeed even if he hates Jerry.
😂 good
ha ha ha
I cant put even put it all on Dak. Yall got stomped by some rookies. But Dak cant ask for the big paycheck then not step up in playoff games.
That was THE MOST embarrassing LOSS I have witnessed as a Cowboys fan!!! Wish Jimmy was at the locker room at half-time!!!
Packers are just too good.
I totally agree, brother. Humiliating. Disgusting.
@@Cotronixco they're like the Lions. Very inconsistent. Some days they seem like the best team in the league. Some days they're the worst. They had a good day when it counted though.
And the world loved to see it.
@@SnapJack-kd6kk yeah that’s why Cowboys get so much hype … not because of the cowboys fans but the haters!!
Just goes to show that a passionate coach can really make a difference. Go coach!
Jimmy has more fight in him at this point in his life than 95% of the Cowboys roster.
The absolute truest statement ever made!!
“You get your rear end in there!” Coach mode activated lol
he’ll definitely cuss them out if he was in the locker room, that’s how he got 2 rings
Man he prefaced with "I cant say what I want on tv but..." And proceeded to light into them as much as tv would allow. Im glad he has a regular role with the team now.... Lets see if Jerry allows him to make a difference.
This is the kind of intensity the Cowboys need in the locker room from the coach but Jerry fired him
Yeah McCarthy s gone, justified
Players don’t want coaches that install discipline anymore, they don’t like being yelled at.
That’s fine. Don’t expect to win football games.
That part
It's been like this since Jimmy Johnson left, even when they won a Super Bowl in spite of Barry Switzer. Dallas will never realize their potential until the Jones family admits they can't do a competent job as GM.
@@williamcarr3976 Yep, the Tom Coughlin/Marine Corp model of leadership has gone the way of the dodo bird.
Dallas would’ve had at least 2 more SB rings if Jerrah would’ve kept Johnson as Head Coach. Jerrah’s ego will not allow him to win another SB in his lifetime sadly.
That's what we are missing! Come back Jimmy.
I keep saying you need to put him as adviser do him like Seattle does Pete carol
Not a cowboys fan but imagine if jimmy was still coaching. Jimmy Johnson has that old school roughness you don't see now days.
Men today are weak. The players today wouldn't be able to handle it and Jimmy would be forced out by the league for his "harsh" treatment of his players.
@@jeffrocha2397bullshit, belichick is obviously like this and was/is the most successful coach ever. Almost every good AFC coach is like this: Saban is like this. Cry more.

It was delicious
He better go sit down before he pass out . He’s up there thinking it’s 1992 😂

dont worry bud, theres always the potential to be even more embarrassed next year.
It's been over for over 30 years maybe in the next 25 yall win something go STEELERS!!!
Until they have a new owner, I'm sorry to say, they'll never stop "San Diego Chargering" their playoff games. Sure, Green Bay played great. Now that's a REAL halftime speech by a REAL Coach! Love yah Jimmy.
Jimmy is the real coach. He knows how to get it done!
Jimmy Johnson being the best head coach Miami had back in college and the best Dallas had in the nfl. A legend through and through any current or former football player would run through a wall for that man if he was their coach.
McCarthy can never rally his troops like Jimmy can. This is why Jimmy is a Hall of Fame coach.
Coaches aren't allowed to any more. Weak minded players of today can't handle that type of coaching.
McCarthy managed to rally the 2010 Packers for a Superbowl win in Dallas ironically, maybe dem Cowboys just choked.
@@Zippadeedoodaa-nt8omreally? Never knew that bc it happens in HS still lol 😂
@@Zippadeedoodaa-nt8om They have that type of coaching with the Patriots and with the Lions.
"I can't say now what I'll say on television" that itself speaks high volumes. I will admit that I am a cowboys hater. It's not that McCarthy can't fire them up. No coach now a days can't fire their team up like the old school style coaches would because these athletes are p......! They are spoiled, weak, fragile, sensitive, whiny, cry baby brats. That goes in all of sports today. The unions have gotten involved more because athletes were going and bitching and crying that they didn't like the fact that coaches/ managers would try to fire them up like grown men. These guys expect high end contract and can't take any heat from getting told what to do. It's pathetic and nauseating. SMFH 😡
Johnson was a disciplinarian. That's why the 90s Boyz were so focused and in Championship shape. He didn't take a bs. Old school coaching. None of this "We still did good out there guys" like Garret and McCarthy be saying. Toughness in the locker creates monsters on the field. And that's what we need!
Facts 💯
so true and cowboys will never get to a superbowl this century as long as jerry is in charge for whatever stupid reason he'll never hire a real coach like jimmy ever again jerry has deserved every disappointment the last 28 years
That's why Jimmy Johnson was a great Dallas Cowboy's coach back in the day!
That is a coach! Not what we currently have in Dallas!
This is the reason this man took us too 2 back to back Super Bowls I miss Jimmy Johnson as our coach

I miss him too!!! My GOD we WON a super bowl with Jimmy's players AFTER HE LEFT and in SPITE OF BARRY SWITZER TOO!!!

Barry Switzer won a SB with those same Cowboys. Jimmy held a clipboard, Jerry paid the refs, and a team of all-stars dominated. Jimmy is dogshit for getting peak performance from players.
That's what the Cowboys need some passion and emotion. Jimmy was the best.
Whether Jimmy is your Coach or not or retired or not. The way he got fired up and you play any kind of football…all you should be saying to that is “Yes Sir, just give me the ball!”! Thats how us fans think all Coaches are at heart and then some!

One thing is for certain, Jimmy would have had this extremely and highly talented Cowboys team in at least 3 Super Bowls, he also would have launched every single player that wasn’t going 100% on every play. This team has so underperformed it’s disgraceful.
Only Jerry jones would fire a coach after back to back superbowls. This guy actually cares enough to call bs out
Kind of like when Jerry Krause fired Phil Jackson from the Bulls because he thought Jackson was getting too much credit.
Ego is the Cowboys problem …trickles down from the top to the field every week.
Jerry Jones is such a pile of trash, never liked him as an owner. Washed up rich snob who thinks he is smarter than he is.

That intensity and mental toughness is what Dallas is sorely lacking. Jimmy could motivate the backup punter to run through a brick wall for him. The talent is there but Jimmy knew how to make players reach their potential and then some. I think the Cowboys need Jim Harbaugh.
NEVER would he go to that craphole State!

The Dallas Cowboys are far from America's Team, but Jimmy Johnson is America's coach. Most definitely.

For real though, but I know I’m tired of being heart broken by my favorite team which is the Cowboys. Something has to change.
And Jimmy should have been put in the Cowboys ring of honor the same year he was inducted into the hall of fame! Great coach, good guy but never truly appreciated by Jerry Jones! Any other owner in the league would have built statues/monuments on Jimmy's honor after building a dynasty. But not Jerry Jones! The owner with the biggest ego in NFL's history!!

That’s like a Grandpa After 5 drinks talking about a big game in 1992…..wait, he was…😅
Jimmy Johnson needs to coach this team right now
Nope, too old to coach now. He will get a heart attack if he does.
The way Jimmy Johnson delivered a fired up and excellent speech is the main reason why most of his players that he's coached for with Dallas Cowboys they've all had to listen to him and sure enough they delivered by winning Super Bowl Championships i know that didn't result with a win vs Packers but that is why Mr.Johnson is in not only the pro football hall of fame but in the ring of honor cause of that kind a speech like that i tremendously do love it for real 0:30
Jerry Jones thinking about giving him that contract again, I know it😂
Jimmy wouldn't just say the words, he'd bench a player or cut them if he thought they weren't giving it their all. And that's was what some of the fight with Jerry was about. Even Mike was that kind of coach Jerry wouldn't stop meddling enough to let him coach.
Mike who?? Mccarthy???? Pfftttt
Jimmy Johnson melt down! The pain of a Dallas fan.
The only thing worse is a Alabama or Buckeye meltdown. And how great has it been this year to watch all 3.
I'm a Lions fan but Jerry Jones should have never butted heads with Jimmy causing him to leave. The Cowboys have been cursed with losses in the Playoffs ever since
No that’s how great coaches really react. And that was the clean version!
Meanwhile Stephen A Smith is going to have a field day roasting the Cowboys.
This isn't a meltdown. Do you people even know the meaning of words anymore?
Grandpa jimmy was furious. God bless him.

Strahan was fine. Gronk was unnecessary
Im a Washington FAN..but like Jimmy..i can see in his eyes he still love the cowboys...,joe Gibbs has the LOVE for Washington...BOTH Joe Gibbs and Jimmy Johnson needs to come back at least 2 years..
That’s passion 💯
Now I see why the cowboys won those championships back in 90s .... He make me wanted to go out there and I don't even play professional football
I have to admit this one really surprised me. There's no excuse for this. The Romo teams were frustrating but this one was just painful - did the Cowboys just think they were going to walk all over the Packers and when they kept falling further and further behind they lost all confidence because that's what always happens to the Cowboys? What's sad is this was a year that no team in the NFC really impressed me as unstoppable - the Cowboys should have at least gotten to the Conference championship.
Also nice have a stupid Vikings GM Mike Lynn give up a lot of draft picks for one player.
Jimmy spoke for the rest of the Cowboys fans like me. McCarthy didn't have this team ready and Dak folded in a playoff game just like he always does. Thank God I was around for the Staubach and Aikman years.
My best friend from HS is a Packers fan. He told me before the game he thought the Cowboys would probably win this game. I said “nope” Dak will throw at least 2 interceptions and have that deer in the headlights look most of the game. He needs a sports psychologist because he can’t handle the pressure of the must win games.
You can take the coach out of the game, but you can't take the game out of the coach.
Strahan had me dying lmaoo 😂😂😂😂
Jimmy must of had a LOT of money riding on the Cowboys. 🤠😂
That's how Jimmy is going to come up with Michael Irving's bail money. Don't think Jimmy is throwing his good money on bad karma.
