There is no self start in a Standard 500

@@melanisticsoldier5816 dont know about the RE variants in USA but here in India only the new BS6 variant of the Standard 350 or 500 have the self start button according to the new compliance law
Usually the Standard bullets had the Kick Start and no self start

I own this model since 2015. Previous to this, rode Machismo 500, electra 350,bullet 350. Being riding since 31 years. The feel of this Metal is UnMatched. The Second Best Thing Between A Man's Legs.

Well we do have highways like these here in Rajasthan. The traffic is not as little as in the video but still I think you are over exaggerating the situation.

As a fellow Indian (I just assumed you are one too, cause shit traffic and road rules truly unite all of us, sadly), I can really, really relate... also, while on the straights, the way he just kept seamlessly riding without any fear of a random pedestrian or rickshaw crossing the road diagonally out of nowhere.... sigh... all I can do is watch and dream. That hard bass thump is a really common thing in rural India. Most folks install 3 apoke rims that look cool. Heavy crankshaft, 500cc, those were real stuffs man. It's affordable yet gives you the fun and dignity offered by most retro cruiser bikes. Bring back 500cc bullets.

And he shall have music wherever he goes~! Wonderful, thanks, I will put these vids on with a coffee to relax. I had a pre-unit Enfield Bullet 350 in England in 1988, and to be honest it was rubbish. But Eicher have transformed the bike, so I crossed my fingers and bought a 500, and am delighted that I did. Anyone who criticises these bikes based on their old reputation, try one of the newer iteration. So sorry they have stopped the 500 now. Happy trails! :-)

Bought my Classic 500 in 2015. A few modifications and 20,000 miles later I'm still in love with her! I would never part with her :-)
Unfortunately many Indians hate these bikes. Just because these loud high bass bikes are a big thing in rural India, people think it's UNCIVILIZED to drive one.

I've listened to R.E.B. 500's with the Dolphin, Red Rooster & Punjab Long Bottle silencers, and I like the Punjab L.B. the best!
You've got the proper classic one piece seat. More comfortable, supportive and ergonomic than the split seat design. Id raise the handlebars a few inches to not hit my knees when turning.. But I'm tall. Nice bike. I have the 2007 Bullet 500 Machismo

What silencer have you installed
Lovely ride mate on a lovely bike. All your roads seem to be arrow straight there....wherever there is?! :-) How much are you paying for petrol there? Here (Kent, England) it's about £1.25 a litre, which works out about $7.70 a gallon!!
It is about $4 at gallon here 😁😁

Nice video ! I also have a bullet 500 but the original exhaust doesn't sound like that, what did you change on yours ? Also, what camera and mic are you using ? Keep going on !
I did, changed it to the Punjab Long Bottle silencer. As for the camera and Mic I am using a Gopro hero 8 and a Zoom H1. Thanks!
Original exhaust sound is much better don't change it with other after market fake exhausts.

@@vishalbaliyan2673 you must try some early 90s made RE350/500 bullets having right side gearbox to feel the real bassy sound and riding difference. Today in India all aftermarket exhausts sounds cheap hollow n loud only.

I don't know if the bike lost a lot of torque, but gained some speed.

I think that's the efi version. The rpm on carburetor can go extreme low and sound a bit high. The carburetor version can make boom sound too that's fun

It's just because there are many Bullets thumping around. But RE should have done some efforts to increase the thumps in the stock ones.
That's because a few mfs make loud noises even near residential zones, schools and hospitals by using really loud silencers(¿).
99% of Indians love this... Only legends ride RE. ❤️

I have bullet std 350 ❤. I have vibrations issues while riding the bike. I couldn't never go at that speed due to handle vibrations.. Do you have vibrations on handle?
