- Just a heads up.... this video is 14 minutes of highway riding at full throttle. This will give you a good idea of the Bullet 500 (with the Punjab Long Bottle Silencer) sounds like on the highway. Thankfully I was wearing earplugs on this ride because it sure gets loud and drony! But on a positive note, if you can handle the noise and vibrations from that single-cylinder, theBullet 500 can tackle an American highway... I mean you won't be going very fast, but you'll look damn good riding!!

great sound AND even though obviously flat out, the bikes engine seemed like it could stay at that speed all day long and not get flustered ... AND great sound ... AND rock solid handling ... ace !! oh and ... great sound :) :)

Honestly I feel more vibrations at lower speeds, between 120kph- 140kpm you can feel the vibration for a minute or two but it smooths out after that 😁😁 I'm not say the vibrations go away, it is just less and more bearable for me 😁😁

It's time for that 19 tooth front sprocket! (I get another ~10mph in all gears on my 2020 bullet). If you recently purchased your bike in southern cal, you may have purchased the last standard 500 in the US. I purchased my standard (not classic) in 5/2020 from a shop in CT. My local RE regional manager said these were the last two...
That will probably be my next modification! I've heard a lot of good things about the 19T sprocket!!! I got my in SF and I was told it was probably one of the last ones in California!
It seems quite funny there are some of them in ur locality......But the twist is that it is manufactured only a few miles far from my house in India😂 and i can even see the manufacturing process by taking few walk from my house to the factory🤣.....Life really changes from country to country😌
Man I gotta say I have a new appreciation for American highways, as much as I enjoy riding on the better roads here in India, riding my int on American highways is def on the bucket list now

I've been riding for a long time. I used to ride dirt bikes as a kid, but practice makes perfect and you always learn new things 😁😁 I didn’t import this bike, I was able to find it at a dealership

Learning to ride a motorcycle to get your license shouldn't take long, ultimatly they're fairly simple machines. Once you're up and riding, you never stop learning, part of the charm of the hobby.

Hi there, just watched your video. Amazing how you safely can pass others on the right side. Here in Holland we get a big trafficticket if we don’t pass on the left side . Here we must drive on the right side unless passing. Anyway, my question is about your Royal Enfield.
I recently bought a 500 classic. One of the last batch of 1000 motorcycles, they call them the Tribute Classic. It only has a few km on it. And i would like to know if you respected the advise to go really slow the first 500 ,1000 and 1500 km’s.
It is asking a lot of my patience and i am not even sure it’s necessary. What do you think?

That’s interesting! As for the break in period, I had a slightly difference approach. Instead of riding around super slow or a fixed speed for miles and miles, I pushed the bike for a short time and then backed off for a little bit, and repeated that cycle for a little bit for about 1000 miles. I think this also let the engine get used to revs and gears at a wide variety of speeds. I won't take it out on the highway for a full throttle run till around 800-1000 miles and Vibration also do get less after about 1500 miles

Try out short bottle megaphone or goldstar silencers .. long bottle punjab damages the valves in long term.
Wao, have you tried Gursewak silencer too?
You can help a decent set of people who own royal enfield & are confused which silencer to opt for
Put a series of videos on silencers as well & do what you normally do, people here in India would love to see that (y)

I would really like to do that but getting different Bullet silencers in America is difficult and very expensive. Maybe I will try to do that in a couple of months. Also feel free to share a list of silencers 😁😁

That's plenty fast for a 'thumper" , 70 mph is about normal max( maybe 60 mph prefered) for highway cruising).

That looks magnificiently freeing, living the dream! 😀 How do you personally find the vibrations at highway speeds? I've only driven my Bullet up to 100km/hr cos I'm still a Learner and not allowed on highways yet, but even at that speed it didn't seem as bad as some people make it out to be.
You will get used to it and it's not terrible , but I will say the first time I took it for a highway run it sucked because I was not used to it. Also after about 1500 miles of riding the vibrations do get less.
Most people are simply exaggerating the vibration just trying to sound funny😅😅

Not sure what you mean? But I haven’t experienced any gear change problems when downshifting.
@@coffeehouseriders8348 my enfield is classic 350 carburetor model.... if i need to hear those downshift pops then i need to tight the fuel mix screw in that carburetor a little bit from stock setting but at the cost of missing(response delay while throttling) especially while giving throttle after those downshift pops.... and iam curious to know whether this problem is also in EFI models 🤔
@@Nadheem721 interesting, no I haven’t had that problem with my bike. Maybe the issue was fixed in the EFI models.

Really nice! Which sprockets do you use? I mean their size. Was it the standard front sprocket?
Im using the stock sprockets. I think front sprocket is a 18T and rear sprocket is 38T... Hopefully someone else can confirm that. I don't want to count the teeth 😂😂😂😂
