It's amaaing how the media takes the idea that BB and Tannenbaum had a phone call and somehow it means BB wanted the Jets job. Everyone with half a brain knows BB left the Jets in 2000 partially because he hates that slimebucket Woody Johnson. Johnson is the one who hired Goodell, or at least pushed for him and then stole half of BB's staff in 2005, while perpetuatiing "Spygate" which was an obvious misrerpresentation.
You can't blame a GM for trading a WR who didn't want to stay. AJ brown wouldn't sign in Tennessee, will Garrett Wilson want to stay in ny? I can imagine a scenario where Bill reaches out to the jets just to toy with them
I don't buy it. There's a big difference between someone from Belichick's team "reaching out to gauge interest", and Bill actually wanting to coach the Jets.
Or he could have put his name in the hat, just so he could reject them again and drive the Jets and their fans crazy... In which case, it worked. For now.
Who cares where it came from? It made a ton of sense as a fit, FOR BOTH SIDES (aside from bill/johnson nonsense) that defense with bill would be top notch and as long as bill/GM could build up that OL it would be a seamless fit imo, it was always the best place for him to land.. aside from shitty ownership
I never thought I would say it, but if the Jets finished strong and Rodgers threw 275 a game, would a warm weather team take a chance? What if Stafford abruptly retires?
He was going to do the samething he did to them. So he would take it and then quit and take the job at NC. Jets were not about to be played by the same hand again
He talks about all the teams, scroll through his videos and find a video about your dream boy Mahomes and shut up! I'm not a jets fan but I enjoy his thoughts on Everything sports related!!!!
You know nothing about coaching if, #1 you think any coach wins without talent and #2 any coach would have been just as successful as Belichick was with the Patriots.
@@stephanea5364 You evidently missed my sarcasm. Rodgers has been done for some time. He won 1 Super Bowl ring & he's never made it back. He shouldn't have even won those MVP awards in 2020 or 2021, which overinflated his massive ego. Contrary to popular pundit belief, he is not the 'greatest thrower of the football' we've ever seen. 😂
Yea the league was done with him he was talking ish about the jets during the manning cast he quit on the franchise way back in the day but he was desperate enough to go there talk about a fall from grace
Most GM's don't want Bill in their building because they know Bill will want their job as well.
If Bill got hired by the jets, I would expect him to lose on purpose. His hatred of Woody Johnson runs that deep.
Don't worry bill would lose seeing how he doesn't have Brady
@@r3tr0actiongamer24 LOL exactly, no need to lose on purpose when you can't win anyway without Brady
Bill didnt want that job, he cant stand Woody
😂😂😂😂😂😂👍

He tried using them as leverage for another team
BB did not reach out to the Jets...
I know for a fact he did. Jets said no thanks
The No Way Out reference at the end 😂
Bengals would be a perfect spot. A future HOF QB with a ready offense and a defense totally disfunctional.
“Future HOF QB”? That’s a bit premature.
Yeah, more like the next Andrew Luck, bengals let him get beat up like he owes them money
Oh C'mon Rich.... BB TROLLING THE JETS. PERIOD.
Russini again geeze c'mon guys
"we're on this thing... by not hiring the greatest coach in history."
I wouldn't have hired him either his time has passed these kids ain't gonna respond to that old school hard line ish they're not built like that
Well if you want a chance at playing for one of the best coaches in history and don’t take it you aren’t trying to be the best.
@@jordanflores5687He was a mediocre HC in the 1990s he hit the lottery w Brady he is a great DC not good HC
Greatest coach in history? LOL Carried by Brady, facts can't be denied.
@@stephanea5364 that’s like your opinion, even Bradysaid they did it together. What a fool!

Doesn’t sound like something Stafford would do. He’s a gamer.
Rodgers can throw as many ywards as he wants when the pressure is off, we know how he is when the lights are the brightest. Choker.
He was going to do the samething he did to them. So he would take it and then quit and take the job at NC. Jets were not about to be played by the same hand again
Oh, but Thomas Dimitroff gets an interview for GM.
I’m sure that will go well.
HAHAHAHAHHA
Belichick and Rodgers being co-dictators would not have worked.
Dont fall for it DP. Bill absolutely hates everything Jets. I dont believe that for one second.
When the Polaroid develops, it's Costner on the phone with Russini....
"unless the 41 year old qb that has been falling apart for two years is part of the future" - What a wild take. Take the Jets cap off.
I really think Bill won’t coach a single college football game. I believe he’s trying to draw up interest in the NFL.
As the sec will say he took the job because it is easier to win in the ACC
Jets are laughable.
Why are you wasting time on the Jets??? Just because you are a Jets fan Rich doesn't mean we all have to suffer.

Yes you do
Looooosah
As a pats fan, I watch for the jets salt, tbh.
We don't suffer. Rich suffers😂
Jets were lucky seeing how Bill is 82-97 without Brady.

Nobody cares about a garbage 4-10 team

Bill without Tom? No thsnks
What?! You don't think Rodgers is as good as TB12?! 🤣
