One of the best musicians on the planet and we get a backstage pass to his process. This is gold folks. Thank you Mr. Wong for all your contributions. This is one of your best songs in my opinion.
Cory, we need a live performance of this masterpiece. This is my 5-yr old's fav jam from what he calls "the astronaut album". Always asking for it during car rides. And thank you for giving us this behind-the-scenes - very cool.
@tinyturtle1898 louis cole, snarky puppy, and cory wong's collab albums with the orkest are all in my top albums ever. theyre all fantastic, check them out
Sorcerer is one of my favorite. I'd love to play an arrangement for symphonic brass and percussions Ensemble. I know you're selling charts on your website (FYI the links in the descriptions seems to be wrong), but no Sorcerer there. Do you think an arrangement would be possible for symhonic brass & percussion ensemble ? Do you know when it would be possible to access the charts, and if you think it would be possible to arrange it to fit that type of ensemble ? I hope you read the comments sections and that you'll see mine. Wish you the best. Loved the show in the Theatre Antique de Vienne last year. Sadly I could not come to the Vulf concert in summer, but by watching the live video, it seems to have been wonderful.
Been playing music in various forms for 40+ years. It still amazes me how quarter notes and whole notes can make me tear up by the beauty of the chord. Yeah, I'm a softy.
I think the transitions into and out of the bridge on this song define the name of the album almost more than the title track. The horn section still gives me goosebumps after a few dozen listens.
would love to see more breakdowns from the starship syncopation album! the full orchestra really brings something special for each tune... sell by date is by far my favorite piece from the album and would love to see a breakdown of that one... the guitar solo goes HARD
Amen...id do the same. I always wanna hear real instruments...no matter how cool synth instruments can be. ...just to put a little bread on their table to let them know they are still appreciated

metropool orkest is so goated, the album they did with snarky puppy is in my permanent rotation
100% Have you checked out the remastered/remixed Sylva that came out this summer? One of the best-done remasters I've listened to.
I've been listening to Louis Cole's album with Metropol on loop. I didn't know they did so many collabs

This is my favorite song off this album, and this was so special to watch! Thanks so much for this, Cory!!

Please do ONE THE ONE of Brooklyn bop!!!love it!
That moment in the strings when the basses go down an octave? Goosebumps man, goosebumps.
This is my favorite track on the album. My kids love it too!!
Thank you so much Mr. Wong for all you do and all the hope and groovyness you bring to the world!

Thanks Cory! Really enjoyed the video edits. FUN!
And of course the "on the one" break down.

Spitfire Audio is amazing. Highly recommend for anyone interested in this sort of stuff
I'm on the Funk Starship right now! 🌟
I saw a "2025 Album" folder, now I feel like a modern scherlock holmes in a Cory wong city. Sue me.
Those strings made me 😭
Please get Cody to do a production breakdown of the strings PPLEEEEEEEAAASSEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Coles 440? Are those the mics you're thinking of?
That’s what I was thinking too
This song is the sequal to massive aka haunted mansion.
that tiktok edit had me rofl xD
There's something in this song that gives me a little tiny bit of Jamiroqua, Space Cowboyi in there? It's like it a lot.
Midi Tuba!? What in the world!? 😂 I’d play my tubas on a track for free, just for the hang & some lunch! Totally enjoy these breakdowns. TY!!

A midi tuba? And the football team of other musicians who worked on this project?
@@oststadtseuche Sure, the “football team” was there. Just not the actual tuba. Check the vid. You’ll see.
several tuba players were paid well in the making of the album hahaha.
i just needed a little something to give a synthetic punch
@@CoryWongMusic ok Cory...love that fact. Love your music too brothah...as Im a long time sax player...your music is next level...never change!
AHAHAHAH Finale never disappoints at failing 🤣🤣
Probably because it's not a Finale file. It's a Musescore file.
Does anyone actually mix on big speakers these days?
I'm curios as to what notation software you're switching to in the wake of Finale's end-of-life. Dorico? Sibelius?
Musescore maybe? 😂
13:30 lolol
9:16 team villain intro
This album is so good, I seriously want a copy of this on vinyl. I know it's a big investment, but I think a kickstarter would be wildly successful
This is already out on vinyl 😮
@@AllHailKingGila it's already sold out?! Noooooooo!
Those hamburger microphones are coles !
