He hasn't worked this out yet 😅 he still floats around realizing that this exercise or that exercise is the key without realizing that it's variety that's the key.
Years of heavy squatting with the same stance every time can't be the best. I've varied my stance over the years and always regretted it eventually when I didn't.
Off on a tangent, but you seem a smart fellow. Have you ever read “ A clockwork orange” Anthony Burgess. Only a short work. The title refers to turning something living into something mechanistic. Perhaps you see the relevance. In the book, a wild youth is subject to a state programme to render him harmless. And read whatever. Maybe of interest to you that one of the features of the novel is the use of a dialect employing words from Russian. I know you are not Russian, but still might resonate. I am not going to give a link, but it is easy to find a copy on the net.
hey ivan, im 95 kg and yesterday i decided to test myself kind on like mental/phisical. I squat 100kg for 31 reps no stop. Was definitely a diff experience ahah, what do you reckon?
I know you´re not into bodybuilding but will we ever see you cutting down a bit? I think you would have such an awesome physique. Also another question: are you doing single legged stuff atm? I´m going crazy with weighted reverse lunges and they work wonders.
Cutting down might be a good strategy between periods of gaining. Like get to 105 kg, diet down to 100, then get to 110, diet down to 105 etc. Zig zag. But is it worth it? In my experience, without the food, the lifts go nowhere. Maybe better to get the big lifts out of the way when you are young enough then think about aesthetics. There is no real solid answer to this. You have to decide what you want.
So sumo deadlift a all the time 😂 Jokes, i remember i started with sumos when i tried going for a new PR in 2022 that was when i was still in remission/unknowingly coming out of remission anyway. Before doing deads aka deadlifts i peaked at 150kg for 1x so goal was 165kg after 8 weeks gaining bodyweight, and specifically working deads now i started with sumo then traditional deads and went for 5kg jumps per week or more if i felt ready. Ended with 120kg for 5 reps working sets before i fell ill which was a sign for what was to come and yeah ignoring things does not always work with chronic illnesses so never went for my 165kg sadly but i think it was there at the peak of that camp. Great vid man and i agree we often limit our training mindsets which is kind of dumb as experimentation can lead to adaptation 🫡🫡🫡
When doing Squatting everyday, rotating variations is crucial.
Max Effort Method✌️

I love car analogies like the power band in this case. Really helps illustrate certain ideas. Great stuff, boss.
Cheers my guy
So jealous of your bench. It has blown up this last year.
Yeh it’s come a long way man. After last year being a nightmare. Feels good now.
The light of Louie shining down upon ye!
Excellent stuff, can't wait for your yearly debrief and projects for 2025
Man, your arms look enormous
That guy has always been a unit, but I agree. Recently he seems crazy fit
So does his glutes
It is a case of variation

You should set your pins one higher you're wide enough it wont even interfere with your bench rom
