Just want u to know have just started watching your videos and love them and thanks for Turning me on to green fairy shop well I shopped on the clearance sale and had a party love it can’t wait to got my goods like I really needed anything but so Mac fun shoop
I like option #2 but would probably choose option #3. The reason is , I always make crib size or toddler size quilts for babies. Unless, I’m making donation quilts for the NICU where my daughter is a nurse, then I make a quilt about 40x40. I want a quilt that the baby can ‘grow’ into and one that they will do tummy time on, drag behind them when they are running around and big enough to snuggle under when they’re reading a book! That being said, I don’t think there is a poor choice! Anything you make will, I’m sure, will be beautiful and loved by both the baby and the parents!
Baby Quilt - my choice would be Blooming Lovely I have a layer cake in Melrose and love it!! Keep that one for yourself. I think several prints/solids from AGF will look amazing to mix with this collection.
For a baby quilt, especially a girl, definitely Blooming Lovely, really goes with your inspiration art! I feel the Melrose is more sophisticated, would be good for an older child or teen, even a boy just using the more geometric and darker fabrics. Think you should get a small vacuum for the lint, but you wouldn't get the tricep workout!
Option 2 gets my vote. Can't wait to see the pattern you choose. Option 3 looks like a boy quilt. I have to make one by March 16 out of the baby's grandfather's shirts. Haven't gotten the shirts yet, hopefully tomorrow, & don't know if they are real shirting type fabrics or if they have colors. I know they aren't t-shirts at least. So I get the time crunch! I will be watching. I saw your unboxing of FQS Jan Sew Sampler & loved it! Love charm squares, waiting patiently for my box. It's on the way. Have a great week!
Blooming Lovely is definitely my favorite. It matches the pictures you showed so well. I, too, would leave out the darks this time. Did you see the Bella Solids by the bolt sale on Green Fairy today!! Love their service, and of course their sales!
What is pattern name for quilt hangin' on the wall? Think it is the BOMB! Reminds me of my granddaughter! Thank you for any info on this quilt!! For your baby quilt, I would definitely use BLOOMIN' LOVELY!
I like that one too but I like the Blooming Lovely # 2 the other one would be a good one for a female so that is what I think Thanks For Sharing you got all of that at Green Fairy ? Alma
