I have looked and apparently Aldocube does not have replacement parts. Mine is loose and won't charge. I tried the trick with electrical tape but that only worked for a short time. I am going to have to see if I can get a soldering iron with a fine tip and see if I can re-attach mine. That is some awfully small work.
@@rickstechrepairs Sorry, i missed your answer 7 month ago. Thank you very much for this advice. just fyi, I saw this problem occuring now for the 3rd time on 2 different Alldocube iplay 20s tablets. Really a weakness
Hi, I have a 2 yr old aldocube iplay40 with recently replaced lcd screen. The touchscreen became more sensitive than usual, you can tell if you try to scroll down using your fingers it opens apps along the way instead, and when you try typing on google or any other apps the letters gets doubled ever if you are really careful, any ideas what I can do to fix that tablet?
Mine is not charging now so I bet it is the same problem. Ive had a problem with the thing constantly dropping my wifi and telling me I need to check my password. I ended up keeping it even though th3 wifi always gave me so much trouble and now I wish IO would have just returned the POS. I only kept it because I couldn't find another with 8 gigs of ram and 256 gigs storage and with a fair camera with flash. I won't be buying another ALL DON'T CUBE! Anyone know of any other similar priced tablets with lots of ram and storage oh and a headphone jack? That is the other thing that screwed me with these. I use mine to make music and the apps I use wont work with Bluetooth headphones. The headphones and all the damned adaptors and c port hubs I've bought for this to try to make it work for me is another big waste of my money and my time on this POS! I am so torked pissed off right now I seriously want to take the damned thing out and smash it all to hell with multiple whacks of my sledge hammer then melt all the pieces into the ground with my torch!
The best part of waking up is a teardown in your cup.
too kind :)
I have alldocube iplay 40h. The charging port is broken. Where to find parts to replace it? Would you help please!
I don't know sorry

Gosh! thank goodness for your video !!! i was about to place an order for this iplay40 pro !!! and now i know that i should NOT !!
The usb port quality is disappointing, considering you NEED that to charge it up!
Where are you located? I need a damaged charging port replaced but don't have the tools to do so myself.
Australia.
but try a phone repair shop local to you
@@rickstechrepairs I am in Vic too, my local shop told me they can't fix it :(... Guess I've ended up with a pretty expensive paper weight LOL
You think it is easy to repair ? ( i mean with soldering iron)
i wouldnt attempt with a soldering iron, hot air station is a must

Not much, sounds like a faulty replacement display
Hey Rick I have an overhitting issue probably. Tablet gets really hot and screen starts to be unresponsive. Can you please help?
with a overheating tablet, it sounds like it has a major fault going on with it
do you know how to reboot it? mine has a touch screen problem. it is not responding.
not sure sorry
Где находится микрофон для записи звука?
I've got the same problem. Seems like a feature.
feature not a bug :(
Happen to know what screen these use?
no idea
it took me 40 euro to repair it and the fix just lasted 2 months. The tablet works great but this bug makes it useless
Did your USB port fail twice,?
@@rickstechrepairs yes!
Mine is turning off and is overheating huhuhu what should I du
not much you can do, look at possible returning it
Owh wow the pin is being soldered on the board... Such a tedious... It's not like phones, where the pin is detachable from the board...
its just like a phone..
Mine has the same problem😠
Bugger

disappointing to hear your experience with alldocube hasn't been good
i don't have any recommendations on an alternative model
I'm way late to this, but I bet you have mesh wifi in your house?
Broken port after 6 repairs. Breaks every two months. Alldocube poor manufacturing
Damn, I thought their QC was bad.
After opening this tablet and seeing how bad the type c port was attached, I couldn't recommend someone buying one
