It seemed that in Naver article, it was said that the ending is her annihilating herself to protect the precious memories they make, but there are other theory that this is reference to E.T. where that idle symbol on the floor is basically how she is supposed to go home (what they are trying to do with that orb the whole M/V). So based on angsty interpretation, yea she sacrificed herself or less angsty interpretation, she’s just gone home ridding the bad guys in the process. But the girls prpbably went home themselves based on the pain on Shuhua's eyes.
About the last scene, I think, but I may be totally wrong, Shuhua remembers all the good times they had together but also realises that's over now. And in order to save the guy she has to 'sacrifice' herself. So she dissapears in a bright light and the guy is free. But, as I already said, I might be totally off on this one.
