Thst alone would knock the stuffing out of you besides all the other happenings in the same day! Glad she recovered quickly and I bet that epi-pen is not expired anymore... Landon sure is a trooper. I loved that he flushed his IV. When I worked pediatrics the kids always loved to do that as well as other things to help with their treatment. The kids that got treatment a lot always seemed to gravitate to helping flush the IV. It made me smile. So glad your mom is doing better. What a scarey experience.

What we did for our kids is just take the pedals off their bikes...works like a balance bike. By the time you put them back on they are biking like a charm! Calico critters are so cute! Two of our girls have a huge collection spread out all over their bedroom!

Happy to see that Landon is walking on his own. I have heard that IVIG treatment is VERY expensive. I believe you said earlier that your insurance covers it. Thankful for that and that it seems to be helping Landon! You both are so inspirational! My nephew has autoimmune issues that affect him neurologically. He is only in his 30’s, with 3 kids and unable to work. He has plasma infusions (don’t know the medical terminology) to combat the autoimmune disease. His wife handles it well and the kids have had to grow up in a hurry. Blessings to you and your sweet family!

Poor Landon. My heart goes out to him. I struggled with monthly IVIG (three days in a row). It has gone better since changing to SCIG twice per week. Each day is 100 minutes 🙂, and my pump goes in a cute little bag so I can be mobile. I'm able to do it myself at home, and that has really been beneficial with no infusion center where we live. Prayers for continued healing, prayers for your mom, and prayers for you. I know this is a tough journey. ❤

Poor little guy, I hated to see he was feeling bad but he bounced right back. He looks like he's doing much better after his treatments though. Him being involved with his care, never know you might have a future Doctor or Nurse in the family. Treatments, testing, hospital stays & Doctor visits are so hard. But as parents we know what has to be done, as tough as it may be. Glad your mom is doing ok also. It always seems to rain as it pours. Try to get over 1 crisis just to have another. Just a suggestion anti-nausea meds at the beginning with the Tylenol and Benadryl. As a person who has had infusions-not his, but infusions-. My thoughts it’s better to do small dose before on safe side. Also, I agree if it sounds good to him to eat and drink in small portions is what will benefit him. He knows what sounds good and what doesn’t. YOU are an awesome MOM❤️.
Thank you! Yes, next time we are going to do Tylenol and Benedetto before, start infusion and then give him zofran about an hour or two in to hopefully prevent this again. We are going to go slower as well.

It’s an IV every time. The doctors think the port is pretty extreme for what he is doing. We may end up going to every 4 weeks here soon. Then every 5 weeks. He’s such a champ with the IV now too! Not even a tear!
Just have to tell you that I love to watch your videos because you are so real with how you share your thoughts and all the ups and downs of life:) You also have a good sense of humor about it all. I laughed when I saw you picking out the Calico Critters because when my daughter was about 5 (she is turning 20 this year!) I bought her a set like the one you got and a little Calico Critters house. BE CAREFUL..they are addicting. For the next 6 or 7 years, for every birthday or Christmas, I was hunting down different Calico Critter families and sets. The original version , called Sylvanian families can be found in England, Australia and Japan and they have sets that we don't have here..so I was even ordering some from other countries! My daughter LOVED them. As she got into her later teens and then going off to college, she decided to start letting go of them and was able to sell them on EBay for a good price. But, I will never forget the long hours of obsessively searching for them online and thinking at the time that I was insane..and I was..but they are soooo cute:) Hope Addison enjoys them as much as my daughter did:) Best to you, Landon (who I am always impressed with!) and the rest of the family
I won’t be surprised if he choses a career in medicine, he is learning a lot about blood work etc. Landen is a great example to other children going through this👍🏻❤️ Sadly stores are jacking up prices on about everything. So the bicycle cost isn’t surprising☹️
costs are going up because all along the supply chain costs are going up with added cleaning and transportation costs as a result of higher gas prices...
I had a similar experience with an Epi Pen being expired. I switched over to an AuviQ and it's so small and easy to put in a small pocket and has voice instructions. I'm sure she already knows about it. Also without insurance it's 5,000.00 but if you go through the company directly it's 25.00. It's really scary for her and the people around her. Best wishes.
I have never heard of balance bikes..do you have training wheels there that attatch to a normal bike? then the bike can still be used after the training wheels are off?
it is what they use now instead of training wheels on a regular bike . there are no pedals so they use their feet to move it and then try to balance that way ( I asked someone a week or so ago because it was new to me as well :-) )

Just have to tell you that I love to watch your videos because you are so real with how you share your thoughts and all the ups and downs of life:) You also have a good sense of humor about it all. I laughed when I saw you picking out the Calico Critters because when my daughter was about 5 (she is turning 20 this year!) I bought her a set like the one you got and a little Calico Critters house. BE CAREFUL..they are addicting. For the next 6 or 7 years, for every birthday or Christmas, I was hunting down different Calico Critter families and sets. The original version , called Sylvanian families can be found in England, Australia and Japan and they have sets that we don't have here..so I was even ordering some from other countries! My daughter LOVED them. As she got into her later teens and then going off to college, she decided to start letting go of them and was able to sell them on EBay for a good price. But, I will never forget the long hours of obsessively searching for them online and thinking at the time that I was insane..and I was..but they are soooo cute:) Hope Addison enjoys them as much as my daughter did:) Best to you, Landon (who I am always impressed with!) and the rest of the family

I had a similar experience with an Epi Pen being expired. I switched over to an AuviQ and it's so small and easy to put in a small pocket and has voice instructions. I'm sure she already knows about it. Also without insurance it's 5,000.00 but if you go through the company directly it's 25.00. It's really scary for her and the people around her. Best wishes.
I have never heard of balance bikes..do you have training wheels there that attatch to a normal bike? then the bike can still be used after the training wheels are off?
it is what they use now instead of training wheels on a regular bike . there are no pedals so they use their feet to move it and then try to balance that way ( I asked someone a week or so ago because it was new to me as well :-) )
