I have been in creative communications, design, corprate or industrial theater, multi-media, or visual communication business, for 40+ years. And durning that time, we have done 1000s of film, video and or photos shoots for some of the top corp clients in the world. On-line, off-line, pre-production, post production or before drones, or steady cams, or digital editing, and yes, even some before computers. But yet, in less than 5 minutes, you just given some of the best, AND easiest tricks, to make an average shoot, a GREAT shoot! YOU'VE DONE A GREAT JOB AT SHARING! Keep up the good work! With the new school technology, coupled with old school ingenuity, there are new stimulating visuals still ahead of all of us, until CGI puts us all out of business. LOL ...however as long as we have an imagination, and creativity, .... that's all something to this moment in time, computers still can't create. Now you have to teach us old eyes, how the new stuff works. What parts are the best, or what parts are the cheapest, which is different from least expensive, and why? GOOD JOB! ...keep chasing your dream!
Cool video Matt! Just another 2 additions: - Set your Gain & Expo settings on the DJI App for smoother camera movements (for DJI products) - Use both your thumb and indicator fingers to control the knobs on the controller, it gives you a more precise control Cheers!
TravelFeels I was also skeptical in the beginning but it definetely gave me more precision. Anyway tks for your channel and for sharing knowledge! Cheers from Berlin
I love these short and sweet tutorials (probably not to make, but we won't complain). It's amazing to watch a 4min video and come out with some ideas and tricks you're excited to try next time you get your drone out (that isn't a euphemism). I have definitely subscribed as I am looking forward to seeing more of your stuff. Keep up the hard work 💪
Thank you ... your video really helped me, who is currently studying and looking for references to make cinematic videos with drones ... another time, thank you ... always healthy and successful for you ...
Hello Matti. I discovered your channel few days ago and i found very interesting information and beautiful footage. I start to improve my short footage from drone Mavic Pro, after I watched some tips from you. I applied few tips on my last post. Thank you and All the best!
Hey Matty could you do a tutorial on the mechanics on how to do a dolly zoom, normal zoom, and anything else related in premier pro? Great content! Keep em coming!!
ABfilms If you want to get a good drone as cheap as possible I'd get the phantom 3 standard. That was my first drone and I got one on eBay with a Beckman for it for $350.
Thanks for your discussions of making better drone footage. Can you cover your use of Intelligent Flight Modes. I would be interested in a video that explains how a videographer checks out a scene, plans "takes" using various techniques such as reveals, and then decides which flight mode to use for that take. It's almost like dynamically designing "rails" for camera movements but provides so much more freedom. I feel so many of us have the toolkit, but we don't know how to plan for and use it.
I like that you mentioned matching the footage to other camera footage captured. Does video filmed in 1080p on a DSLR drastically differ from 4K video captured on a drone? Would viewers notice a difference?
I typed in "Cinematic drone" in the RUclips search and as of 2019 - 2020, we've been getting a lot of those speed racing FPV trends that's taking over slow drones.
Hi nice video really good tips.. do you recommend using tripod mode for smooth shots To keep same speed? And about ND filters I just ordered the DJI ND8 but didn't tested yet... Do you use polarpro for your shots? I need a suggestion please. Thanks
how did u make the Travel Feels 3D text in your intro clip. It looks beautiful the way it looks like it's hanging in the sky and it's got a reflection on the water too. Please make a tutorial about it too. This would help a lot. Keep up the good work mate. :)
Really nice video..! I am just a bit confused, though... seems like you are referring cinematic as "looking better" and more smooth ? cinematic is originally the opposite of smooth, but actually more choppy - which is why all pro cinematic shots are done - or at least presented - in 24fps. So just wondering - are you mixing up things or do you just refer to cinematic as "nice film looks" ? :-) Keep up the good work btw :-)
Thanks for sharing, micro jitters is the problem. Hopefully nd 32 will solve it on mavic pro as 16 is still to bright to keep shutter speed only twice as frame rate.
Great video. Love my Mavic Air 2 but I guess I'm a noob with post lol .. My videos are more long single shot records rather than snippets on snippets. A lot to learn but its an exciting new thing to learn.
Seriously; where did you shoot the mountain scene with the 2 persons standing on an edge. It seems beautiful there, love to visit it sometime. And of course thanks for the tips!
Anyone liking these quick little tutorials?????
Absolutely !!!!
TravelFeels Yes Matti! Keep doing these kind of things
Damn yes. Let me know if you come to Tokyo or Paris someday!
Sure!!
Definitely man! I've just learned a tonne of new and helpful info in the space of four minutes :) nice one

Yep for sure although not sure if I could do the 2 finger thing. I feel like it wouldnt be as fluid but worth a try

Thanks man!
Damn I need a drone ! Thanks for the quick tips
Doesnt everybody? 🙌
Yeah but since a lot of people have drones nowadays, I believe it's harder to produce aerial footage that really stands out :)
ABfilms If you want to get a good drone as cheap as possible I'd get the phantom 3 standard. That was my first drone and I got one on eBay with a Beckman for it for $350.
ABfilms Also to stand out just do different things. I try to fly really close to my subject, which gives a really cool look.
Thanks for the tips, I will definitely apply them to my next videos...
Maybe one day i will have a drone but thank you for this, looks really insightful.
So much to learn bro! Thanks!
Thanks great tips, Does the drone need calibrating on every flight? Plus can you do an in-depth on ur Mavic 2 Pro settings?
So helpful! I just picked up a mavic pro can't wait to try it out and do some cool videos!
Thanks 🙏🏼
Perfect format 👍

How did you edit the words to reflect off the water?! It looks sweet and I’d like to add it to a few of my personal videos.
Really nice video..!
