We dealt with the European schedule quite well especially with the amount of injuries we had last season I reckon we'll be alright but who knows this years format for UEFA competitions are different.

Our thin squad did for us in the end. We were fielding last choice players in big games. Against Olympiakos we looked properly knackered. This season will be a different beast with the way Emery and Monchi are recruiting.
Played 53 games last season and had up to 4 academy players and two goalkeepers on the bench for over half a dozen games due to injuries..we were spent when it mattered towards the end hence why we are addressing that now with new signings and building the squad!Going to see a whole new team under the second best Manager in the league so mock all you can while you can Gez!

Diaby wasn't the star in his position Bailey was and we got Philogene. Dougie fell off towards the end of the season and replaced him with Barkley Onana and Enzo for depth we'll be alright

This villa fan is ridiculous. I hate agreeing with jamie O'hara, but hes living on a different planet if he thinks they can get close to the title. I think they will be very lucky to even finish sixth this season, and thats not hating on them, its their first time in the champions league or the equivalent, in recent years, and every premier league club seems to struggle in their first season, although if Newcastle didnt have that horrific injury crisis they might of got it two seasons in a row, but that would of been the exception to the rule if anything.

Diaby wasn't the star in his position Bailey was and we got Philogene. Dougie fell off towards the end of the season and replaced him with Barkley Onana and Enzo for depth we'll be alright
