Some people have been asking how I got down. There's a sort of trail on the other side of the mountain that takes you all the way back to the campsite. It took me 4 hours to get down, and I arrived at the van by 1 AM. But to be honest, that was the easiest part. Please do NOT attempt this route if you don’t have experience-it is extremely dangerous.
The amount of strength (both mentally and physically) that doing this takes (and the fact that you could summon it!) is absolutely insane. Kudos to you Bernardo! Thank you for documenting this for us!
Thank you for making it and thank you for capturing the experience. You're on the list of my TOP1 creators! Still trying to process what you did - INSANE !!!!
Hello Bernardo. I am a medical student. I come to see you because your videos makes me feel relaxed, free from stress and makes me joyful.. You are the aid for my anxiety.. Love from Nepal 🇳🇵
at 9:17 when you are describing the climb, i feel there comes a moment when when you transition from talking to the camera to you talking to yourself. and the way it was said captures the essence of what is at the stake.
DUDE! My palms were so sweaty as i was watching this whole video hahaha i could sense your relief at "the end" but also how scary it must have been. A little part of me really wants to go and try it out some day 👀
@thehumanchris I advise you not to even try this as it is very risky and dangerous. Bernardo shouldn't have done that... as he mentioned in the video, I was going to freack out, I almost did go crazy... You must always weigh the danger and not take risks... you are too precious to us and we don't want to lose you
Dude there is absolutely no flipping way i would ever attempt such a thing, my hats off to you brave sir. And to think you were filming this solo hike solo too, absolutely incredible work mate.
R u kidding me, filming and climbing this at the same time !! I know it's your choice but Bernardo please don't do these super risky things, we love you.
This needs to go viral STAT. The fact that you did this ALONE while filming which as most of us know having to go back and forth to the camera is hard enough just goes to show your dedication and we need these types of videos to Trent instead of the Mr Beast crapola
Oh my goodness Bernard, this is crazy crazy crazy!!!!! We love you too much for you to be taking risks like this! I felt sick watching this! Incredibly brave of you but just stick with the bike and van now!! 😂 🤘🏻
You are doing craziest thing i've ever seen bro, but i'm still love to enjoying the way you filming it's actually the incredible video on youtube even i told your yt channel to all my friends at school❤ i really love your yt channel🎉 keep going bro
you should honestly be proud of your accomplishment here dude. I could feel how scared you understandably were here... I would have felt exactly the same, if not more scared. You made it dude.
Wow.. This was insane in ways I surely could not have expected. And the way you told this story was impeccable. Got moved by the emotions of when you thought you had finished the climb, and the genuine fear along the way. You are incredible.
Fairly new to your channel but love your videos Bernardo! You’ve inspired me make a change in my life and to go and find my happiness, get out there and explore the world. So thankyou dude, please keep up the top content. 🙂
My friend and I did a Via ferrata in France in July, 75% of it climbed up along a waterfall; you’ve got a climb straight up whilst water runs down the rocks under your feet, and soaking you at every chance. My fear of heights kicked in but I told myself there was no turning back and I powered through and really enjoyed the climb. It was nothing compared to this, but it has given us an idea to do a via ferrata tour next summer - and my eye is on this one…
This is absolutely insane Bernardo. Always loved your films and this one really got my heart racing and rooting for ya. But one question.. how did you get down?!
Another great video!!!! Congratulations on getting to the end, I got scared with you. And now that you are doing a lot of videos in the Alps, I think you should do one together with Bruno Pisani, a great Italian mountaineer and storyteller: www.youtube.com/@BrunoPisaniAdventure
Nice climb, although the way you positioned and changed the harness when there was fixed lines is really dangerous, i recommend you watch a tutorial or smth before going to such a risky place, good luck in your next adventures and hope this advice helps!
Another tip: Don't position your two clippers in the same direction. One is facing to the wall, the other one in the oposite direction. That prevents that the both clippers are opening when putting on pressure and you're not secured anymore. Also never put your hand on the clips when climbing up/down, just lead the clipper/ carabiner hook on the rope that is connected with your harness.
Well done man! this has been on my list for a couple of years now, so good to see a more recent video of someone doing it. what time of the year did you do that btw?
idk why anyone didn't point it out but that harness lock which is sticking out of the mountain and attaching the main cable needs to be maintain well 3:25
Bernard this is insane!! Its like nightmare for some people and you literally did it ❤❤I wonder how was the way down? Was it easy or difficult like the way up? How did you made it in the dark?
At the end when you said" These are the risks that are not worth taking" i felt that You are doing some of craziest sh*t i have ever seen Love you bro ❤❤❤ One day i will meet you and like to do a trip with you You are an inspiration And if you read this comment drop a comment for me 🫰🫰
Źle się spakowałeś brak wody i jedzenia plus cukier , brak karimaty i śpiwora wodoodpornego i jak na pierwszy raz to z kimś , po za tym gratuluję że pokonałeś leki i dotarłeś do końca 😂
The wole film blended perfectly together. The best part was 15:06 because that was the most well deserved sip of water in film history! (ps check your email)
Leukerbad! Just watching the Via Ferrata from town and seeing how high those mountains are is terrifying! I can’t imagine how scary that route is. Congrats on your achievement, but maybe consider a safer activity 😂 that looked so dangerous. 🫶🏻
14:23 i believe in god, but i'm not christian, even so, just thinking about some random person who is, looking at this and getting strenght to keep going... kinda give me chills (i'm not saying bernardo is christian, literally imagined random people)
woowww thats incredible, I sooo wanna do that! What a great video man, as usual! How does one usually finish the trail? Do you usually just sleep up there or people do that in one single day? (doesn't really seem too possible for a single day haha)
I have a reoccurring nightmare where I’m climbing a steep mountain going straight up without safety harnesses. I reach the top but then can’t climb back down since I can’t see my footing going in the opposite direction. Darn, I’m going to have that nightmare again tonight.

The quality of your filming even in that tough conditions is insane, keep going Bernardo, you are my TOP1 creator!
Damn, what a video! Happy you made it back

I was definitely talking to myself 😅

Be careful, this one is extremetely long and the last part is quite sketchy, my arms were destroyed.
i still wonder how did he get down, if you could please tell me that it would be wonderful and exceptional filming mate! 👍

I also need to try this once in my life ❤❤❤
Quality is good but why didn't you show the real elevation (without the 360 cam) and the final view?
The wole film blended perfectly together. The best part was 15:06 because that was the most well deserved sip of water in film history! (ps check your email)

You are quite right: that was a very dangerous experience which I hope Bernardo will never take such risks again.... :(

what is the name of this hike?
You can see at 1:39 it's called Via Ferrata Gemmi-Daubenhorn
Do you think it’s possible to camp at that green rest place between at the end of stage 2, before stage 3?
I have a reoccurring nightmare where I’m climbing a steep mountain going straight up without safety harnesses. I reach the top but then can’t climb back down since I can’t see my footing going in the opposite direction. Darn, I’m going to have that nightmare again tonight.
