i’ve been dealing with depression since i was 14. Sasha’s music had helped through high school. it was a brutal experience for me. my mental health was so bad but her music kept me going. i got better for a while but i’m going back downhill. and Sasha is coming to my rescue yet again. i cannot express how thankful i am to have discovered such raw and vulnerable music like hers.

There is hope. God became a human as Jesus and died to take the penalty for everything wrong you’ve ever done, then rose again. Sin is disobedience to how God tells us to live (mainly in the New Testament). This song is exactly what I needed to hear today. I just broke up with my ex and now I'm realizing that he didn't treat me the way that I'm supposed to be treated. He was really affectionate at the beginning and then he took that all away from me, which just made me crave his love more. And I could never communicate with him about anything because he would always find a way to make me feel bad about it. And he lied to me so many times. But regardless of all of that I missed him for so long. I finally let go of him the other day and told him that I couldn't do this anymore and I'm so proud of myself.
