I always said it, she is authentic. She doesn't just sing for the sake of singing, she's telling a story, a real life story of herself and that what makes the emotions of her music feel so raw.

This is so insanely relatable for someone who has struggled with depression before. It makes me want to cry just listening to this because I still remember what it was like to feel so sad and alone like this, with just a bunch of dreams and nothing to actually live for in the present.

I tear up every time I hear this song because she puts it into words exactly what we feel when we are at our lowest. The struggle to get ourselves to do things but we know we want to be able to. It takes time for our minds to heal but we all know we’ll eventually get there and have to be patient with ourselves.
Not everyone will understand this but she puts it into words that i can use to tell my friends what happens in my mind when I can’t express it myself ❤
