Howdy, If you complaint is that E. G. Marshall was replaced, then the fault lies with him. Darn selfish of him to decline in health and die. As if I didnt have enough problems in 1982. (Or before. Or since. ;-) If your complaint is that Mrs. Grimes wasn't the best possible replacement, then I think you'd need to defend your position. Putting aside the fact that Mr. Brown had limited choices -- How many people wanted to be a radio actor 1982? How many people had the skill? How many people would work relatively cheaply and were handy? -- I think Mrs. Grimes was a swell choice. Maybe I'll change my mind after listening to this episode, but my recollection is that she followed in Mr. Marshall's footsteps quire closely and quiet well.
