      I watched a film breakdown of his game against the Raiders and it was very impressive. He is getting better with each rep. A lot of people were hating on that pick. I was disappointed that we didn't solidify the OL in the first round, but Chop has shown some upside.

      @UlisesS-t4l He's explosiveness, quick twitch and speed off the edge was so impactful in college you can taste the upside. it was something that you had to do at that pick.
      All the OL choices were good not great. People get on Chris Grier too often about going with the safe good player rather than the high upside and he finally does it and he gets massive amount of hate. Chop had Parsons upside but admittedly high bust potential

    The constituent parts of this offensive gameplan felt complementary, in a way that we haven't seen before. The one, two punch of Waddle and Smith worked well. Thursday will be a big challenge. Imo, GB will test us on both sides of the ball.

    • @erikhalvorseth3950
      @erikhalvorseth3950 20 часов назад +2

      Not only that, GB will punish such a sloppy 2.half. Better coordinated, and not prone to too many fouls. That being said, being 2.5 TD’s up against a mediocre Pats pretty fast was surgical by Tua & Waddle and set the tone for the match. Fin’s D held Maye at bay to such an extent that any feel of threat in this game was never there,though

      @@erikhalvorseth3950Concur. There was a great desire on the part of the Dolphins to dial down intensity and take starters off the field. When you can’t trust Skyler Thompson for even 1 play, it was bad news. Other than Walker (bad enough), we appear to be in good shape. The Packers will have the Dolphins full attention.

      I hope that Chop alone is not enough to retain him as GM. Myself and much of the fan base see him as part of the problem. I like Chop Robinson, but I still would have drafted Teron's replacement to learn behind him and help keep Armstead fresh and healthy.

    Look, I love having a reason to watch the game on Thursday night.
    I also know that if they don’t run the table we probably don’t get in. And, BTW, I don’t want to back into the playoffs and exit stage left as the same old Dolphins. Yes, making playoffs is better than not making it into the dance. However, we need to head in believing we can be prom king like the NY Giants did in 2008

    Poyer needs to stop crashing the LOS when the qb escapes the pocket bc he just vacates his zone completely. He remains a liability in the secondary. Really hoping McMorris or Campbell gets some play over him

    I could not believe Skylar came in, botches the hand off and fumble recovery for a 63 yard TD for the Patriots, was disappointing. So I was like, they get the 2 point conversion, now it’s a 2 possession game. So here comes Tua back in. Someone explain to me what’s going on with Skylar ?

    Great game on both sides of the ball vs NE. But...I only see 1 victory for the Phins in the remainder of our schedule (a split with the Jets). Let's not get too excited, this team needs to shed the "Can't win against winning teams" juju. I don't want to back into the playoffs and look like chumps again. The Rams, Raiders and Patriots are not exactly what I would consider stiff competition.

    Leave skylar in the game, and we would' lost 34-31. 11 minutes is a long time when a team's best drives consist 3-n-outs instead of a turnover. He's gotta go, he is the worst. I don't want Jones but hell jones is way better than thompsom.

    King jinks 305 here again to school the football community. This was a win and I’m happy about that, BUT this patriots team is undisciplined and very sub par. IMO we could and should have put up plus 40. Here is the thing McDaniel refuses to run and be physical and is still showing bad situational coaching decisions. Why take Tua out and put in Skylar? Just to put Tua back in. It’s 11:00 left so run the freaking ball and stop with the tosses. Even the announcer said he didn’t understand why we weren’t running. This gameplay will make them look good against subpar teams but I’m telling ya folks it won’t fly with above 500 teams specifically Green Bay thanksgiving. We need to be more physical and dominant in the run. McDaniel wants to be a pass first team but that doesn’t always work. An offense has to be able to transform, one minute a jet then next minute a tank. Get me? Uhhh ok win but not impressed until we become the bully.

      1.half the Fins sweep the floor with the Pats D. 2.half was partly sloppy though, against tougher opposition this could backfire. But 3 in a row is huge. WP, Tua

      Today the run wasnt working. They had 24 runs. It wasn’t abandoned. I was good with the passing today. The Pats gave us the passing lanes. Take them. The team has been running the ball consistently since the Tua injury. Now a team decided to try and take the run, linebackers moved up, and the old passing lanes we were uses to seeing open were opened up. You are right though. This team will not be a bully against better teams. Even when they do overtly run it is mostly outside zone running scheme based on speed and not strength. We won three games against 3 bad teams. As they say “show me”.

      Two questions. 1) is he cheap? 2) is he better than Skylar and Huntley? If the answer to both is yes go try and get him. For me he is a no. Not accurate and does not make quick decisions. Might as well keep Huntley and make his qb2 when he returns.
