It's very quiet, but in the system I advise taking Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003. This is a very quiet HDD, but sometimes come with a high-pitch noise, but it is still quiet WD Black.

Have the 2 gig version of sv35.6 drive,with whooping 200 meg peak read speed. First time to see single conventional hard drive to reach 200 mark.

How was this drive performance, beside the performance ?
