From Tanzania here!!! I have lived in both cities but currently in Dar es Salaam!!! There is a big difference between Kenya and Tanzania economically, culturally, politically, geographically etc and each country has it's significance and potential depending on the lifestyle you would like to live!!! I will start economically Kenya is leading and you can thrive there because people in Kenya especially Nairobi like to spend unlike People in Dar es Salaam but you have to be very smart in business in Kenya unless you focus on manufacturing and agribusiness!!!you have to outsmart the Somalis and kikuyus in Nairobi!!! Culturally, Tanzania 🇹🇿 is a multicultural country with 120tribes+ but interestingly we all speak Swahili as our national language anywhere in Tanzania.. politically, Tanzania 🇹🇿 is more conservative with socialist ideologies but it's a mixed economy compared to Kenya which is a capitalistic and mixed economy as well...The advantage of reallocating in Kenya is that you can have a dual citizenship and be able to own properties unlike Tanzania 🇹🇿 you have to be an investor to own properties as a foreigner and no dual citizenship... Geographically, Tanzania 🇹🇿 is better than Kenya boardered by almost all countries in East Africa with an exception of South Sudan. In Tourism Tanzania 🇹🇿 has more tourist attractions than Kenya and a wide range of wild life, islands (Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia) , great lakes ( Tanganyika, Nyassa, Victoria)..Arable land, if you are interested in Agribusiness or agriculture Tanzania has good Arable land than Kenya!!! Talking about the two cities Nairobi suites more Western life and it's favorable for Americans and Europeans..Dar es Salaam is somewhat conservative it suits Asians, Arabs.. Generally if you want to experience the true African life you will opt Tanzania 🇹🇿 but for a way modern Life you will opt Kenya

Dar es salam is slow like Mombasa and should be compared to mOmbasa.Nairobi is way ahead .And no when it comes to tourism Kenya is way better and has always been .Kenya is the only country in Africa and probably the whole world with a national park in Nairobi city ,that is the first thing that makes Nairobi kenya very very unique.Kenya Nairobi has been voted as the best home of expats by the expats because it has everything one roof .You can’t compare Kenya to Tanzania it’s incomparable maybe Tanzania and Uganda.

In Zanzibar I could relax more and we did so much more there.

You can easily live even on less than $1500 per person in Nairobi if you know how to do it. For example instead of getting a furnished apartment that goes for $1000 like most expats like to do, you can get an unfurnished apartment of the same standard for $500 and buy the furniture yourself

Nairobi has a similar history with New York City, USA. Both are melting pots of immigrants & hence the cosmopolitan diversified cultures. Good insights about Dar and Nbo 👌
For starters, Nbo is "The Green City in the Sun" and it lives to its moniker. Greenery and open spaces is a hallmark.
Nairobi's healthy moderate weather is a great relief and suits everyone's preferences. Currently it's the long rainy season till mid May, thereafter Kenyan"winter" sets in June to August...which is pretty cold for the standard tropical climate.
All in all, as we say here, breakfast in Nairobi, dinner in New York/London or breakfast in Dubai, lunch in Nairobi... that's how it's easily accessible and with easy finds of anything conceivable under the sun.
    Enjoy NBO ❤

Hi, this is the first time I'm watching your content and I'm finding it very interesting. As for the topic for the video, one thing I'd love to point out is that Nairobi is a UN city, so that means it is home to a lot of foreign diplomats from more countries than Dar. Also Nairobi is home to regional HQ or HQ of many multinationals. So these two factors exposes Nairobi to more global influences compared to Dar. Also, these two factors makes the city more expensive than Dar. I just thought I'd point that out. Otherwise enjoy your stay in Kenya.
