  • Possessive pronouns in German dative case explained in A1 German course for beginners. Dative possessive pronouns in German language are different from possessive pronouns in German accusative case and nominative case. Possessive pronouns shows a relationship or possession of someone or something. That someone or something can be a person or a thing. Since persons and things in German language have a gender and these can be used in German dative case, accusative case or nominative case, therefore possessive pronouns in German cases will be having different endings.
    Possessive pronouns in German dative case for masculine and neuter nouns are same. This means that same dative possessive pronouns in German can be used for masculine and neuter nouns. However, for feminine nouns and plural nouns different possessive pronouns in German dative case have to be used.
    Possessive pronouns in German dative case for masculine and neuter nouns are
    For "my" dative possessive pronouns in German is "meinem"
    For "your" (informal) dative possessive pronouns in German is "deinem"
    For "your" (formal) dative possessive pronouns in German is "Ihrem"
    For "his" dative possessive pronouns in German is "seinem"
    For "her" dative possessive pronouns in German is "ihrem"
    For "its" dative possessive pronouns in German is "seinem"
    For "our" dative possessive pronouns in German is "unserem"
    For "your" (Plural informal) dative possessive pronouns in German is "euerem"
    For "your" (Plural formal) dative possessive pronouns in German is "Ihrem"
    For "their" dative possessive pronouns in German is "ihrem"
    Possessive pronouns in German dative case for feminine nouns are
    For "my" dative possessive pronouns in German is "meiner"
    For "your" (informal) dative possessive pronouns in German is "deiner"
    For "your" (formal) dative possessive pronouns in German is "Ihrer"
    For "his" dative possessive pronouns in German is "seiner"
    For "her" dative possessive pronouns in German is "ihrer"
