Is there a limit to how many led’s you can control with this? Also how about wanting to change the colour of RGB led’s is that possible with this tutorial?
I am still trying to find a solution for sending custom OSC addresses from my daw FL Studio over to Arena so I can power live visuals... the issue I'm having is that the VST plugin I am using called OSC/PAR (by Deadmau5) only sends specific lines of OSC address, which Arena is not configured to listen for. The OSC link from FL Studio to Arena is successful, however the OSC are not editable from either OSC/PAR or Arena. Any suggestions for workarounds? Thanks!!!
I tried to go on the website to sign up for the labs. I need info on the best software and hardware to use for editing lighting to align and play with backing tracks. Can you point me to any of your resources further discussing this? Thanks for your help!
I need help. I've been trying to automate my lighting for a long time. I'm using 2 laptops, one for DJ, and the other for lighting running ONYX. I can't get ONYX to accept Midi clock input or audio. I'm a DJ. What else would you recommend I use to automate my lighting?
That is correct. ONYX takes Midi Timecode or notes. MIDI clock won't allow you to automate your lighting as it only provides a BPM - no other info! If you want to go sound-active, I would look at something like DMXis or SoundSwitch.
@@HighlandsChurchTV I never had the extra hardware to test the OSC, so I don't have an answer. Although, it's been a year this a wrote this complaint but ONYX now finally accepts Midi Timecode.
@@djmannyleon9204 Wait they updated it to accept midi? My installer said it couldn't take midi, that's the whole reason I spent 30+ hours this week trying to learn Ableton, TouchOSC, and networking... oof
What is the best LED strip to use to synch to backing tracks in Abelton for a solo acoustic guitar performance?

Hey, thanks for the info! How does Soundswitch play with midi and Ableton?
I haven't used the 2 together myself, but here's a video that shows how it works: ruclips.net/video/e0GvxLYS_Ro/видео.html
