Dude nearly sparked a Konoha civil war, ordered the murder of the entire Uchiha clan behind the back of old man 3rd, did NOTHING as the leaf was threatened with the hope that he could rule the ashes, made Naruto’s childhood a living hell by leaking his status as a jinchuriki into the village, tried to manipulate his way into command at the five kage summit using genjutsu, has Sai try to kill his own brother, used Yamato as a weapon…
Overall a relentlessly destructive antagonist.
As bad as danzo is, people still hate Sakura more. I don't, I think danzo is easily a much worse person than Sakura.

Yeah Shinji is pretty much the product of what Anno set out to do. A realistic take on a kid being pushed by adults to fight against an unfathomable enemy, while being expected to just tank the losses and pain.
I don't know if Anno expected people to hate Shinji, or even if he thought about how his MC would be perceived. Narrative-wise this was new territory (aside from maybe Ender's Game), so he might've just gone "let's find out what happens".

Agreed totally. To be honest, if the Death Sentence wasn't an option, i wonder why Naofumi didn't simply suggested to jails her and Trash, to Life Sentence, to that both scums could rots the rest of their miserable lives in the dungeon, to keep them out from the lives of our heroes for good.
Yet, they only got a slap on the wrist, to simply be punished with a change of name, but be allowed be free. And in the case of the former princess, be allowed in the Motoyasu's team, where she clearly could still be causing problems, making me even think that Naofumi wasn't smart for suggested this punishment.
If Shield Hero been turned into even more realistic seinen like berserk. Melomatc would get punishment where her face thrown with acid, suffer rest of her life with disfigured appereance. If red dead have Legendary rat, than anime had Legendary trash
when i first started watching the series, i instantly had this visceral reaction to her trying to connect with the mc, my instinct told me that something was off with her and sure enough

Regarding Shinji, you also see his worst aspects in UBW, when Rin was kidnapped by Archer and brought to the Eizbern's castle.
And Shinji was showing his lecherous intentions to the tied up Rin.

Had just been pulled out of a seria depression himself. Shinji was always mean to be like he one In the new movies. Ad it's actually obvious because Shinji was the character that was suffering the least in the entire cast, his life actually became better as a pilot than it was, so ha fall into depression made no sense, specially since he was the the character that was supposed to be the emotional anchor for the other characters to save themselves.
Don't believe me? Read the manga. The manga was written after the anime to rescue the original plot. All of the events are the same as the anime except that Shinji ever fell In depression, so this time he was the only one to maintain his synchronization rates, and he also was there for Asuka, this changes the ending of the anime and the End of Evangelion. Because not only did he never get controlled by Kaworu, Asuka was also in perfect condition and managed to eat all of the mass produced Eva models sustaining only superficial wounds. And all of his was written organically so it doesn't fell like it was a forced good ending

That Shinji subconsciously remember what he did wrong and so, He is more emocionally stable than the series.

This fusion of living beings caused unimaginable suffering to the girl, turning her into an abomination.
Tucker sacrificed his own daughter's innocence for the sake of his ruthless ambitions and experiments.
And that's not the worst part, except for the protagonists. They met the girl and she affectionately called them brothers. And they were forced to watch that horror while Tucker smiled as if it were normal.
They also saw how the girl was left in pieces in an alley, ending her life.

Dude, Gojo is hated by his own creator, but a lot of fans cosplay as him. I once went to a Anime festival and met like 4 people cosplayed as Gojo
I do not like him, because of his childish behavious, overconficence and having one of the most broken power in anime at all.
the only reason i dislike Gojo is simply for his overpowered nature. i never feel the threat when he's around, that's why my favorite moments were from when he got sealed until he got released. it felt like the curses actually looked scary for once. other than that i like his character.

Nah after watching over 300 chapters in a week, trust me she is WAAAAAAY worse than Griffith. Not only did she do horrendous things and ( spoiler alert ) cause the death of A LOT of the friends of the main character but she also doesn’t think she did anything wrong and still questions why the main character hates her and wants to kill her.
At least Griffth knows why Guts hate him and how bad of a being he is

1:25 there is a character in a fanfiction I made about a different anime from code geass, where there is a character who is similar to Nina. She is much more insane, and she is kidnapping various individuals with ties to the organization known as Chevalier and torturing them for information (essentially she is an intelligence hound). During a search, she gets lured into a trap, and she ultimately falls into the ocean while trying to escape, where she drowns.
I like Asia. She’s too sweet for this world.

But when I see clips of her in Japanese, I find her soo annoying, really it's the repetition, the tone of voice, uggh
I think it's because "Kurosaki kun" is long to say, and in french obv she calls him Ichigo cause names don't work the same way as in japanese, so the voice actor has 2 syllabes they have to replace with other words, so even if it's doesn't really change the overall meaning of the scene, it does wonders to not make it seems like she's a parrot 😂.
I wonder if it's the same in the english dub, for example "Ichigo, be safe !" instead of "Kurosaki kun !" ?

Sakura was a little annoying at first especially with the Sasuke fetish but she was still strong in her own right especially during Shippuden. Took out one of the Akatsuki.

She was physically, mentally and emotionally abusive to Naruto and even said really cruel things behind his back like the time she made fun of him for being an orphan to Sasuke, another orphan. She ugly cried when Sasuke left for Naruto to bring him back which is emotionally and mentally manipulative. The thing that got me to hate her was when she lied to Naruto telling him that she loved him now and not Sasuke. This was easily her worst offense.

I wonder why wasn't put Aultcray Melromarc, aka Trash, in this list, because regardless his tragic past, it doesn't justifies his current actions against the protagonist and his own kingdom.
Particulary, he deserves a lot hate, for the events of the rigged duel, in that this so called king did everything in his power, to separates Raphtalia from Naofumi, even if it means overlooked the cheating in the duel, making him a scum that deserve a lot hatred.
Well because of two reasons :
1: He's overshadowed by Bitch, so he's less shown
2: Unlike Myne, he has shown later in the LN to be able to get better and while he's still not that likeable, still did a lot for the heroes (or so I Heard)

Sakura doesn't deserver all this hate, she's amazing! Without her help, a lot of people will be dead ; plus, she's one of those who has the most merit because it fights relying only on its own abilities and without any Kekkei Genkai.
I'm totally agree that she was very unbearable and weak compared to the rest of the team in Naruto, but that's why I like her much better in Naruto shippuden because she has changed a lot and become much stronger and USEFUL.

I think the Sakura hate really comes from her being a Massive yet somehow successful SIMP and that she wasn't fleshed out well enough as a character with so much Genjutsu potential squandered
It's the other way around, rejected the mc love and alot of fan boys relate to that and lack of fan service like Nami, Inoue or Hinata

Reasons, ig so they can interact with each other but bcz of this Sakura ended up being most hated character in the show
Reason 1 ) 90% of people think Sasuke doesn't love Sakura even the manga readers didn't catch on to the hints as his character was way too cold
2) Naruto being the Mc , all the stories mc wins over the girl he wants. And here kind of got rejected and alot of viewers especially growing can relate to getting rejected by their crushes. U think anyone will like the character that rejected the Mc

Hot take but I think people who hate Gabi missed some of the point of AOT and the fact that there is meant to be nuance, rather than having a black and white good guy vs bad guy situation.
If ribrianne didn't not transform into that butterfly version and stay on her base form , maybe the fans didn't hate her.
Personally, I thought her and her team did a pretty good job breaking the tension during much of the arc. Plus, she did a good job demonstrating just how monstrous (power wise), the top tier fighters in the tournament really were. She was by no means my favorite character; but, she served her purpose well enough. I can’t hate for that.

Gabi - Hated for killing Sasha, who was an enemy soldier at the time, and eventually came to regret it on seeing the aftermath.
Eren - Considered a tragic character for killing billions of people including babies and either directly or indirectly getting most of his friends and comrades killed...including Sasha (who he laughed at when she died), and rejoiced when he reached the point of total sociopathy when he lost all empathy for misery he caused.
...I think AOT fans loathe the wrong character.
I disliked Gabi at the time, but I also defended her for being just a kid, and because one of the main points of AoT is showing what propaganda can make people do.
But Eren? Yeah fuck Eren.

Near actually didn't solved the case easily.He taked help of " Melow ", the " FBI " and his other associates. L left a recording before his death in which he stated that Light who was working as a " Second L " was kira. It helped a lot to " Near ". the thing about Kazuya Kinoshita is the whole manga is being viewed from his POV which includes his self thoughts about everything. Remove this part he's much likable person than the FMC because Kazuya does wonderful things just to make Chizuru happy and avoid the other girls become sad (Ruka). If you think about it removing the cute girl defense Chizuru, Mami ande Ruka are the ones who deserves to be hated for being pain in the ass to Kazuya.
I blame Reiji for not giving Kazuya some justice because he's like Gojo he's being hated by his own author too. Additionally the author's obsession with Chizuru puts the manga in question if Reiji really wants for deliver what his readers expects him to do or he wants Chizuru to end up with his self character Umi.
