Madonna's Super Bowl performance is a great lip synch dance show. I still think Prince's is the best live and over all performance of a superbowl half time show. Prince didn't need a distraction from his music-it was the attraction. I would rank in this order: 1)Prince 2)Madonna 3)Lady GaGA 4) Jlo/shakira 5)Beyonce 6)Bruno Mars 7)Katy Perry. And I'm not a huge Katy Perry, Jlo, or Beyonce fan (and they still make the list). I also like Bruno better than most on my list-but the others brought better spectacles. Lot of the classic artists I like: MJ,Springsteen, Petty all gave mediocre performances IMO. They all have better live performances out there.

I am just very happy that she continues to want to perform to this day, well into her 4 decades of career.

Nicki Minaj, Ricky Martin, and many other music artists that have worked with her, have all said that she is a perfectionist, she rehearses her team down to the nub, and always believes her performances can be better. I saw an interview once where she expressed how she truly believes in giving the audience members their money's worth because many of her fans have worked and saved and spent a great deal of their own money on her shows, because they're not cheap. And for many of them, that may be the only concert/performance they ever attend. She stated that many of her fans sleep on the streets for days, sweaty, tired, exposed to the outside elements, thirsty, hungry... waiting in queue/line just to enter hours before the show even begins. Often times, if they allow fans to enter the auditoriums early enough, the fans get a treat by watching Madonna and her dancers make last minute rehearsals and changes before the show starts. She wants to make sure her fans get their money's worth and that it is an experience they will never forget. 👑. 🇺🇸💙🇬🇧. 🇺🇦🕊️☮️

It's amazing to see how in "Like a prayer" the stadium is lit up by flashes and cell phones. Madonna always giving a memorable show.
