I have watched this video numerous times - because I lived and worked in Dubai for many years. The other reason is simple, the production, filming, settings, views, people, stand out better than any production of this nature that I have ever seen.

It's interesting that many americans are surprised that this city exists in the middle east. Majority of the American people think that the middle east is just a violent and poor area. Dubai is one of the richest cities in the world, richer than some American cities as well.
And to be fair it's one of many there are plenty of amazing areas in the Middle East if there weren't constant wars and corruption you really have to wonder how much better the Middle East would be. If you look at countries like India and Greece which have no wars and are significantly worse off than the Middle East it really shows how suppressed the Arabs/Persians have been in the last decades. Indians and Greeks don't have to deal with sanctions and overthrowing of their elected governments by the CIA yet they go bankrupt or shit in the street.

I completely agree. Extremism is a thing, sure. It's just unfortunate that we have to see the actions of a few reflect on the reputation of many. It pains me to see people shy away from Muslim individuals here in the U.S. The weird looks people give individuals because they're wearing a burka or something of the like is disappointing.
Here we have a country that promotes itself as being an official Islamic state. It coexists with other nations and peoples - it allows individuals of other religions to live within its borders fear free of persecution... it's a reputable governmental state. But because its Islamic it's evil because, of course, what is the Islam religion but a group of terrorists and extremists right?

It's so amazing to see what can be made if money is no object. Definitely on my bucket list to go there.
The quality is awesome, although on 4k you still see minor compression artefacts from youtube, but tbh the 25fps framerate kills the experience because especially on fullscreen the video looks rather choppy. I prefer 1080p 60fps or 30fps over 4k 25fps.
Well, on youtube though normal 1080p sucks because it rerenders bitrate to only 8Mbit, which is really way too few for a detailed scene in Full HD.
They should really instead of adding higher and higer resultion support just add an "1080p high bitrate" option with at least 20Mbit, and also add 60fps support, especially since almost noone has a 4k Display yet.

But since sheikh zayed died at 2004 we have sheikh Khalifa now and he is so good just like sheikh Zayed and I think burj al Arab is second ranked in the world but all I know is that it’s is very tall and it’s the tallest in Dubai and the whole country in the UAE

Everyone in the comments saying Dubai is horrible and built completely of oil and there's slavery there are all just jealous! First of all, I'm pretty sure most of you haven't even been there, I've been there 4 times and loved it each time. I have family who live there and my auntie has a maid which is probably what people are taking as slavery. You're wrong. My aunties maid is lovely and gets treated as part of the family. Second of all, yes, they have lots of oil! Do you expect them not to use it for their country? I think it's silly for some people to say they could give it to others. How do you know they haven't? And last, Dubai is beautiful, there are lots of attractions, the weather is nice if you go in the right times and the people there are lovely if you treat them with respect. The woman wear those pieces of clothing because that's what they choose to wear. Why are you judging them on their clothes? Thank you for readings opinion and if you are one of the jealous people please leave!

I flew to Dubai on Emirate 1St Class recently. The city is beautiful, clean and easy to navigate. It's hot there - like Las Vegas, but far more exciting and "free".
"FREE"er than Las Vegas even? The cops in Dubai don't harass you or even carry guns.
EMIRATES , ETIHAD, and Dubai are what "Islam" should be represented by. If all Islamic states were like U.A.E, Islam would truly be accepted by newcomers.

Michael Marr Already ordered the 3+ for free with my Air Miles haha XD and what I was saying had nothing to do with being able to shoot in 4K, being able to view 4K requires you to have a monitor or TV that is 4K capable, and currently there are about $3,500 :/

***** If you are talk about math for X time Y as area math then you're wrong. It is actually 3840 × 2160 equal to 4K. At time the cheapest 4K camorder is Hero 3+ with only 15 FPS. There are either 4K or DCI. Here is I explain to Legomyego below. For Hero3+ mode, you get to setting it up. Be sure you see 4K on LCD.

That is not true. You can still change resolution on 4K monitor to 1080p, etc. Plus can still watch 4K video on 1080p but not gaming. It will crash the gaming. If you watch 4K video in 1080p monitor, you would see video as 1080p on montior due to limited of PPI.

Most people don't even have a monitor that can display 4k so it's stupid doing it anyway. You will have zero benefits from doing it cause your PC will downscale it to you resolution (which is probably 1080) with the negative side effects of a really laggy video that - as you called it - is like a slide show.
I'm well aware of that. The comment was just a joke, since I know most ppl tried it, and ended up seeing it that way.
