Tony is wearing the armor in the Blood Hunt Event that will be released after Fall of X, so I think it's unlikely that this will be the case, it will probably be his new main armor. That, and I think Howard's whole "this is my inheritance to you" plot, makes the idea of confiscation kind of weird.
I don't care that is some new type of metal it's not breaking adamantium like that if the Hulk and Thor can't become strong enough to break or destroy adamantium that new metal is not either unless it's some kind of magical effect like vibranium anti metal

I agree, I think the writers really messed up with making Mysterium so OP. When they first introduced it, I thought Adamantium was still supposed to be stronger than Mysterium. And to display it like Adamantium would just bend against it really doesn't make much sense (considering it still takes alot of force to bend adamantium). I agree, Lazy writing!
