I love the harder version because that's about how I feel when I have these same emotions.

I know Jeremy wanted to absolutely belt/half scream the last line but I think he was trying to protect his voice. He was 24 here and this was from his first album so still developing his voice a little bit. I bet he could do it now lol 😂

Yeah I only was waiting to hear the raspy voice he used on record. But I guess he went with the safer option. Wish he'd bring this one back out. But keep it old school, no reimagines lol

Here i am before you now
I'm like a child reaching out
Here i am I'm giving all i can
Breaking my pride I feel I'm through
Shattered inside i run to you
And now i give it all to you
Take my life take my mind
take my soul take my will
I am yours now, and i give it all to you
Laying all down before my king
    Offering all my everything
Laying all down before the one i serve
I can understand the reasons why
You came on this earth and died
And now i give it all to you
I can feel you on my shoulder
So I know that you are there
I can see you paint my picture
    The beauty is all there

This is how it was and how it used to be and the way i thought it would stay; but everything is changing and the end is drawing near...

I’d heard this song for what, over a decade? And I’d never knew this was camp, and I played camp in church a TON

Jeremy used his big boy voice for this one.

This was actually before he broke out and became famous. I wish, musically, he would have stayed on this path. With that being said, by no means am I disappointed with all of his other songs

@@krey9090 What’s nice about Jeremy though is that he’s never sacrificed the message the songs convey to make it sound the way he wants. Each song of his doesn’t sound repetitive so that the message can be conveyed properly. For example, his song “There will be a day” would sound more like a battle chant for an army instead of a worship song, and we want to stay away from music that labels itself as Christian but yet fits the description of Exodus 32:17-18
