Awesome review that’s making me very excited to try the series! Shame it could’ve used a bit of a trim but if the ideas and plotting are compelling enough it sounds quite worth it

Thanks for watching, man! It's a terrific series. Book #1, Revelation Space, is one of the best books I've ever read. This was definitely a worthy sequel even if it didn't quite reach the greatness of book 1. Hope you enjoy! :)

Dude, great review. You should read Galactic North. I actually read that before Revelation Space and it works well. Intros you to many of the characters and the universe.

Ooh, thank you. I will have to do that. I'll put it on my TBR. Maybe that'll be the next one I review.

Well, the best science fiction writer living today is Jeff VanderMeer.
But a great video nonetheless, I need to check Reynolds out.

I think Christopher Ruocchio would be offended….. jk 😅

The only book I've read of VanderMeer's is Wonderbook, which is fantastic btw. Been wanting to read The Southern Reach trilogy for some time.

Wonderbook's great. Oddly, I found the audiobook easier to digest than the pb with all the colourful pictures and diagrams, though.
