I'd love to know the story behind how you picked shopping carts to discuss tonight. I love the video! I just had a wonky shopping cart at Aldi today so this video was perfect timing!
I spotted a super old, 70s-era shopping cart in a store parking lot recently. It was weird because the store itself didn't exist in the 70s, so I have no idea why that cart was sitting all by itself in the parking lot. It had to be a glitch in the matrix or something.
My mom is from South Georgia, and I didn’t hear a single person call it a “buggy” until we moved to central Virginia 😂😂 I was like y’all use Volkswagens for your shopping??
@@SouthernASMRSounds Here in St. Louis, they were always called carts. Lately, some of the young people in my area have started calling them buggies. I don't know why that is.
One supermarket I use is in a strip center that adjoins an apartment complex. So many residents there walk over and wheel their purchases back in the carts. This leaves a group of carts away from the store along the divider between the center and complex parking lots.
Yeah I'm also curious about what part of Canada you're from that says 'buggy', I've lived in AB, NS, NB, and ON, never heard buggy in any of those places.

I'm not sure what part of Canada you're from but in 20 years of living in the maritimes I've never heard a single person call it a buggy.
