This gave me chills… What an amazing skin! Her voice suits her so well. I love the theme of gods and goddesses so far with the SS skins!
She actually worships yog sothoth from the cthulu mythos, which either appears as a few glowing orbs or a gigantic tentacle covered space monster with a large gaping mouth the size of a crater.
For future reference: Hastur/Feaster IS NOT who she worships, it is Yog Sothoth, Derelith's mythos has Hastur be the child of Yog Sothoth however Bierce (Hastur's og creator)has Hastur be a benevolent shepherd lord, Lovecraft simply mentioned him. Feaster seems to pull in aspects of all three mythos so since Yog Sothoth and Hastur canonically exist in the same universe, safe to say that this is Hastur's papa/mama same for Yidhra. Given how there's three cosmic deities in IDV, I'm starting to think that this is low-key a cosmic horror game.
Edit: Same for Yidhra as in that is also a cosmic deity who was from multiple mythos and was used by Lovecraft iirc.
Wait hast it and yidra are the two other cosmic entities but who’s the third? The tentacle monster in the vid?
I’m so excited about this because I’ve been reading H.P. Lovecraft stories as much as I can lately and I like them so much. I also just got the role playing game Call of Cthulhu starter set. I’m still just slowly understanding everything more as I have only read a few stories and am currently finishing The Whisper in Darkness, but I’m super excited to catch up. Great to see someone else also notice what’s going on.
We also have Gla’aki as a deity, still hidden under Golden Cave. And personally the Golden Cave lore really cemented the fact for me that they were leaning into that freaky cosmic stuff. The whole thing sounded like a plot synopsis of something right out of the Cthulhu Mythos
Yog-Sothoth appears to be a mass of glowing orbs, but the "God" in this story actually looks like a "Dark Young"(Children and servants of Shub-Niggurath) :(
Oh it's not a low-key thing. This game has always been based around Lovecraftian cosmic horror at its core.

Sheesh, Identity V has came a long way! Every video recently has been a whole cinematic piece. At this point, I’m ready for them to pull a Riot move and make their own “Arcane” for people to watch.

Though I haven't researched a lot myself, I heard from a friend that the inspirations for Fiona and Hastur are connected, so that could have to do with it !!
tako and snek lady are from the lovecraftian universe so yes they are connected. also fiona worships yog sothoth (another lovecraftian deity) which is basically hastur’s dad so yeah.

I'm not rich at all, pretty average. Tho I don't pay rent as I have my own place. I have a job so I can afford to pay $20-50 a month, eventually I'll get it. I love the game and I have been playing Fiona for 3 years, so If this expensive purchase will make me happy - so be it!
Tho amount of copium is very high here in the comments. I understand that the price is ridiculously high, but the issue is people shame others for spending their money. This is as ridiculous as a $500 skin.

This is the lore that I see: Fiona is connected to Yog Sothoth (seeing as her skin name is The Envoy or in other words, The Messenger of Yog Sothoth which was also a tag in the game). The lore behind this is that Fiona wishes to head to the city in the video known as "Providence." She believes that the ancient texts she's seen connects to the shephard that was gone long ago. And, as a result, it causes her to dream of Halsey "inviting her" to the mountaintop ritual as said in the video. Fiona believes that this can lead to learn not only how to get to Providence, the star city, but to also encounter HIM which is Yog Sothoth. She wished to escape the darkness, but in reality, it consumed a part of her.
That's pretty much my take on it.
