The creator, "Lower Standards". appears to still be real good friends with him.... He /band just opened for Metallica at Lolla last week in Chicago.... Away From The Mire was epic....one of the best on tape and right up there with the ACL performance.... The entire 1 hour Lolla set is on YT....i strongly suggest you check it out.....
His grandfather's guitar was started in prison. Therefore his uncle gave him the roughed out body and neck scavenged out of possibly a cedar table. His luthier finished the Prison guitar. His acoustic guitar Co. Put out a limited series of his guitar. Good video of him giving his dad one is out there.
Grammy was won for Bluegrass Album for his album Home. The whole record is fire, but I think you’ll love Guitar Peace (there is an official video). For something and more upbeat, try Highway Hypnosis (live at WinterWonderGrass) or Away From the Mire (live at Austin City Limits). Enjoy! See him live if you get the chance.

And since he/they will be headlining, their set should be at least 1.5 hours....close to a normal set.... And actually, you'd be hitting 3 birds with one stone because Sierra Ferrell will be opening for them.....she's up and coming and making huge waves on the Americana scene....
