I've imported 2 cars from Japan and my only complaint was the importer I bought them from wasn't very good at communicating with me. Like once the bid was won he was impossible to get ahold of until the car arrived here in Canada. he also didn't live in Japan so I didn't have anyone i could directly contact that could put hands on/ take video's or answer any detailed questions about the car. I also did all the searching on the auction site and just told him what cars I was interested in, he didn't do the looking for me. That being said, Ill be looking to import another car once I've finished getting my current project finished up and will definitely be contacting Jeff when the time comes.
I don’t plan to buy a car in Japan, but this video was very entertaining to watch, Jeff talking about his job and everything and Albo doing the right questions…Thank you guys
This was an awesome video that gave me a lot of insite persknally. It sound's like Jeff has a warehouse to temporarily store cars before shipment. Does Jeff ever hold cars for a short period of time to allow owners to visit Japan and get a chance to road trip around the county in their car before shipping it home? This would be the ultimate value add in my book. Already have an F80 bmw to finish paying off, but I may be interested in something with a rotary that is right hand drive in the not too distant future. Great work to both you and Jeff! Keep it up!
When I worked at a dealership I had to go to a few auctions to pick up some used cars. There’s such a wide spectrum of cars up for bid. I remember having to drive an 07 sti back to work from the auction it was fun experience.
Jeff's a great guy!! Very diplomatic and well spoken individual!!! I love cars and enjoy being around others who do too!! More videos like this for sure!👍👍 ✌🇨🇦
Dam I feel like I’m going through the 5 stages of grief after watching this, I always immediately check online auctions of these kinda cars after every video then the denial hits- what no they aren’t that expensive. Anger- dam it why is it so much!. Bargaining- I’m sure I can get it for cheaper? Somehow? Maybe I can do some work myself?. Depression- still expensive, so I am sed. Acceptance- I guess I’ll never get one…then I see the next video and the cycle repeats. Still an awesome video anyway, keep up the awesome work
Great video. Now we know who to call to buy JDMs. Question Why are all the cars parked off to one side on the line? Why aren’t they parked in the Centre of the lots? Japan thing?
I legit thought this was Shane from Watcher network 😂 He even talks the same way. I'm looking to get a JDM car next year. Might have to holler at him nearer the time.
Hi. Recently getting into the Integra Type R market. Why are JDM Integra Type R’s, cheaper than USDM ones? I know the US got far fewer of them, but beside numbers, is there much differences in them?
I do purchase cars at the Auctions in JP through an agent which are then shipped to the UK but I would like to compare your fees to what i am paying - do you have a # or website
it's a dream to Japan, and looking forward to work there as well. But as a person that never travel overseas, i would like to know what are the steps. Should i get my visas, move to Japan then get a job or i apply jobs through online then move there ? Really appreciate it if someone could give me an advice about traveling and stuff
Watch lots of youtube videos first and by lots, I mean until you pretty much understand what the real Japan is like or until you're bored and move on to the next thing that seems interesting. Unless you understand what Japan is really like before you go there, you will most likely think that life will be as easy going as it is/was on your holiday visit there. And it won't, unless you're swimming in money and don't need to work to pay for everything. You will quickly realise that Japan is like most other places and has its ups and downs. This is based on nearly 30 years of traveling to/from Japan, living and working in Japan. I won't say more because I don't want to discourage you from having a look for yourself. It's time well spent if you really want to visit/live/work in Japan. Ganbatte!
I recently went to Japan, just to visit for about 2 and a half weeks, and I have to say it's absolutely amazing. Though the work culture there is incredibly difficult (long work hours, stressful people there etc) but the positive is that everything there is incredibly inexpensive, even in and around Tokyo! So i would highly advise that you visit there first, my suggestion go for at least a month or two, if you can!
Jeff seems like an awesome dude. I am seriously considering moving to Japan when my children come of age.
That was super interesting - thank you Jeff and Albo!
That was really interesting to watch! Glad to see that there are still trustworthy guys when it comes to the used car market.
Hi, Albo. This was an informative and fun two-parter. You ask great questions. Please, thank your guest for his time.
4:35 Dope experience ! I know the new owner was ecstatic to hear that they won
I deff was lol was like 3 am in US at the time lol

Filled out the Google form! Super looking forward to working with Jeff!
13:14 subtle plug for 'Endless' 😆😄😁
What imoressed me most is how clean, organized and how big the auction house is considered Japan is limited on land space.

Why do people blur or not blur the bidding screens?
As I explained in the video, apparently it’s technically industry confidential

Is Jeff hiring? :D
