Hand knotted rug making in India

This video shows local craftsman engaged in the art of making hand knotted silk and wool rugs and carpets. I took this video during a visit to Agra, India. The business is called Kalra's Cottage Industry (www.kalrascottageindustry.com)

This is my childhood profession and I used to work on hand made carpets as weaver after my school time (say part time). It helped me and my family a lot, it was a source of income that kept me persue my graduations.

This is awesome... But i would still prefer Kashmir Hand Knotted Rugs because they have more knots density and are much better in the quality and craftsmanship...
