This is so gorgeous…and I was so tempted, but had spent my DP budget! 😖 It just looks like a beautiful lake house on Lake Michigan in September….hot air balloons and a lighthouse?!? Ummm….my two favorites in one…I’m on ‘gasp overload’!!! I’m getting it (watch it be sold out, lol). I wouldn’t mind if the canvas was thinner. I always do the giant ones, and they hang over the table. The thick DD and DAC canvases don’t hang off the table the best at certain points in the painting…that’s not a problem that DD or DAC have…I need an easel!!! So, a thinner canvas…not sure why it would make a difference, except maybe it just feels different and nobody likes change!!! I don’t think it looks pixelated…a little bit in the water, but that’s the canvas, the drills may be close in color and not look like that…plus adding a drill here or there that isn’t the same as it’s supposed to be in something like the water can make it less ‘pixelated’ (especially if you have an ‘in between color’ in your stash…if it’s really an issue, I think this will be fine.) I totally agree with Mindy that DD’s drills are absolutely stunning!!! They are perfect, nearly zero trash, so clean and shiny…and they really do fit exactly together. Best squares I’ve ever had!! Off to buy…except its really early Saturday morning so I need to hold off until the new releases come out, lol.
I normally don't go for this kind of picture but the colors in that painting and on them weather balloons just draws you in. Wow that is all I can say about this one
I've been watching this one. I also I was afraid it would be too pixelated. I'm always afraid with landscapes from Dreamer Design because of size. I feel like they aren't going to be big enough to catch all the details. I'm pleasantly surprised. Although I still think they should consider a little bit of a bigger size for landscapes.
I put this in my wish list, when it was released. Such a hard decision sometimes, when I do go to order, because I have to many in my wish list. Nope, don’t need to see the DMC number, just need to see all the beautiful drills. I went to your drop down description, I didn’t see a link for your Dreamer Designs code.
