    In my opinion volleyball is a very underrated sport I dont know anything about it other then the roles of the players but I wanted to watch a slight bit of volleyball because I didnt understand why it wasnt as big as it was now while watching it i still dont understand its almost like a chess game but with real people its all mind games yet uses mental and physical strength its insane how fast everyone has to think and the communication they need to have is crazy its almost like a trust game how much can you read your own teammates and the opponents while still using your physical strength to move jump and spike (its spike right? lol when they shoot?).

    • @SnailKingGY
      @SnailKingGY 8 лет назад +31

      +StormXGaming It definitely is a very underrated sport, I just started playing volleyball recreationally and it is very unlike any team sport I have ever played. I've played basketball, waterpolo, soccer, football, and ultimate frisbee and to say the least I feel like volleyball has the most unique charm to it. I feel like it is underrated due to the lack of exposure it gets on ESPN and other major sports channels; rarely do you see sports analysts reporting and analyzing volleyball games. This lack of exposure might to due to how little volleyball is played in schools, and how volleyball isn't a pick up and play type of sport.

      Wait I'll hit you up wi' some facts.
      According to the first few things I searched, volleyball has a worldwide fan base of 900 million players.
      But Basket ball and field hockey have around 1 billion+ fans worldwide.
      Volleyball lacks prominence is media; check a news paper outlet and compare the ratio's of volleyball related articles to basketball related articles.
      However, seeing that Haikyuu's success has made volleyball a little popular than usual, I believe volleyball will rise in relevancy alongside basket ball and tennis. It's a highly underrated sport....and I love it with or without Haikyuu
