it was probably the first music I had heard in childhood. Mother used to hum this song casually along with aji mu srabani while doing her chores.
as others have already said, Saranya has sung it from the heart and taken it as close to the original. I do not have much knowledge about singing, but I can see a young Lata mangeskar
