Wow scary place, perfect place to make a ghostly film, 👽🤡👻 you are amazing how do you find these places, you should name the channel, fantastic journeys 💯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Nice, Will! I agree that this train station is extremely quiet and empty! Have you tried to participate in the Maison de Quartier events? In the one in Champel, near Parc Bertrand, they often organize jazz concerts...hope to see you around one day!
We do have this in England, it's called the Elizabeth Line, and it's crazy popular. What the UK would likely not do (these days anyway) is build something that big and expensive in a city as small as Geneva (Grand Geneve is a similar population to Birmingham), even though it would be very welcomed and heavily used.
Love your content, been watching for a while. About to emigrate from Cape Town where I have been born and raised to Lausanne at the end of this month, can’t wait!!!
With the opening of this new Leman express Geneva has become somewhat okay-ish for *urban public transportation* BUT the rest of Switzerland (with the notable exception of Lousanne) SUCKS in this regard. Zurich for instance is quite a big city of 1,42 million people and doesn't have a single subway/metro line. It's mostly bus & trams for urban mobility. Other big cities in Switzerland (like Bern) also have the same problem, with Lousanne being the only city in the whole of Switzerland to have an actual metro (but it's a very small city and probably needs it the least). So let's not glorify Switzerland. They are indeed the champions of intercity connectivity but fails badly in urban mobility 😬
@@wmkwm-y4c it's not really the same tho. you can't compare a tramway to proper metro that is fully grade-separated and some even automated. There's a quite big gap in quality among the two

Hello, thanks for the comment. I will have a look at the events, cheers
This station was designed for commuters who work at the hospital. Go back there during the rush hour and you will see how crowded it is!
I bet, It's still very over sized in my opinion. Thanks

It's crazy how much money they spend in Switzerland. I agree most major cities would love this station. Cheers

They use trams instead of metro
