This definitely is the funkiest prince remix I've ever heard!! I've been a Prince fan since day one and logged 48 concerts between L.A and Las Vegas since the 80'. I love what you did on the creation tip by not taking anything away from its concept of funk and enhancing the powerful drive with the added bass beat!! Only flaw is you should have made it longer like 10-12 mins!!! Good, Great and excellent job!! Now make it longer!!

I would say it is a good retro version or industrial type remix. I don't think it is funky though. Only at times when it goes back to the original song does it get funky.
