@@_SimpleNG_ That's awesome! Really glad to hear it had a good use in the project. I remember back then wanting to also port SLRR trafic cars to BeamNG but at that time there was no Blender tools for Jbeam and I had no time to learn how to make vehicles too, but the idea then was to make the most low poly traffic cars ever and this was waaay before the vanilla low detail traffic cars (probably late 2020). The body is made up of a single mesh and a single texture and just had 4 floating wheels. Would've been a single vehicle with different body variations so the different vehicles would've been just different configs, it was all planned out and I also worked on the 3d models. The map port was just part of the idea of remaking the whole gameplay loop from SLRR, like what r3eckon was doing with the Beam Legal Racing mod. Tell you what, this is easily the best idea that someone has come up with for BeamNG. Ever since I started playing as a kid, I'd not give much care to the crash aspect of the game, and just wanted some nice looking, nice performing versions of my dream cars in game, without having to worry about development time, interior quality, and crash physics. It's really nice to see that become a thing - looking forward to its release!!

You guys should make destructible versions of those cars, either as every brand in a modpack, or all of them being separate mods, that would be pretty sick
This is absolutely mental! Great work! I really like to drive with interior cam, but i guess the hood cam will do the job. New cars always great to have for a different driving experience, traffic, screenshots etc. I am really excited for this mod! 😁 I read the other comments about the interior cam, but is there a possibility that you would release some of the finished ones as a mini DLC, or were all interiors scrapped so early on that none of them were ever finished? (sorry for asking a very similar question you already replied to 😵💫)
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL I bought BeamNG to drive cars with realistic physics and with detailed features (indicators, interiors, mechanical damage...), but I'm on laptop and man does it struggle. I eventually uninstalled it because I simply wasn't enjoying it. This mod may very well be the reason I install the game again: not for the amount of features, but for the pleasure of _driving_. Thanks devs, and good luck!
Even though I am not a fan of low detailed vehicles in this game since this game is all about details, I will probably make sure to try it out as there are some awesome cars in there that some people may not even think about modding.
Im a cockpit enjoyer, but I respect the effort into this. I may be able to stomach hood view for the sake of some fun "arcade" like racing lol. Also having more cars for the traffic is fantastic
We moved the usual hood view option to be a roof cam instead, felt like it's a slightly better substitute for 1st person, since you're closer to the center of the car
this sounds great exactly what I wanted. but interiors in beamng are one of my favorite things. this mod with a decent quality interiors would be perfect.
The only thing I’m excited about is finally getting a working R30 Skyline in the game. There was a dude who started making one almost 8 years ago but went quiet and so was never actually released.
Yeah I was quite sad about that as well, this R30 is our own custom 3D model made specifically for this mod, as I own the R30 seen at 0:47 in real life
@_SimpleNG_ Ah yes, you’re Shinyodd aren’t you? I remember once interacting with you on your Automation mod. I really want to buy my country’s own R30, that being the KNR30 GTX 2.8. It’s honestly my dream car.
Love the idea because while I enjoy the damage modeling of BeamNG, the driving physics are the main attraction - to the point that I would happily play the game with only these cars so my potato PC could run it.
Oooohhhhh!! This looks super fun! I might get it for traffic cars and just to play around without having to reset my car every 30 seconds. I have a question though, does it have fuel depletion, engine heat or anything like that? (I'm not saying it should, I'm just curious is all.)
i think it would still be interesting to see the damage to be permanent. what i mean is like the sponge physics but when it deforms it stays deformed. kinda like automation cars. still will check this out when its released though!
Can't wait to drive my way around public roads GT2 style, but with higher graphics than GT2. I'm just gonna send an econobox around mountain roads, can't wait for it 👍

You guys should make destructible versions of those cars, either as every brand in a modpack, or all of them being separate mods, that would be pretty sick
I've tried so long to get the Ignis in beam.. thank you guys ever so much ❤
In Korea, too
I support your development!!!
Watching this is my new workout routine. Every time a car crashes, I do a push-up. I'm in for a long workout today.
so hyped for this, good job
2:07 we actually got daf reverse racing in beam before gta6
super exited for this mod, cant wait for it to come out.
Great idea. Now BeamNG just needs a simplified, low-cognitive-load menu system to launch the SimpleNG experience!
I am very bad at driving in Beam so now i don't have to reset my car every 200 meters, thank you
this is literally the best modpack i will ever download
cant wait for it to release!
This is absolutely mental! Great work! I really like to drive with interior cam, but i guess the hood cam will do the job. New cars always great to have for a different driving experience, traffic, screenshots etc. I am really excited for this mod! 😁
I read the other comments about the interior cam, but is there a possibility that you would release some of the finished ones as a mini DLC, or were all interiors scrapped so early on that none of them were ever finished? (sorry for asking a very similar question you already replied to 😵💫)
Oooh boy this is going to be fun 🔥
0:54 "A wipeout like that, and I hardly got dinged. Man, these cars can really take punishment!"
i boguht beamng to improve my driving, and then started taking photos, so this mod is perfectly suitable for me and i love and appreciate the effort
THERES A MAZDA MX3 IN THERE!? HOLY SHIT. That was my very first car i EVER drove and had as a highschooler. I have NEVER seen it in a game.
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL
I bought BeamNG to drive cars with realistic physics and with detailed features (indicators, interiors, mechanical damage...), but I'm on laptop and man does it struggle. I eventually uninstalled it because I simply wasn't enjoying it.
This mod may very well be the reason I install the game again: not for the amount of features, but for the pleasure of _driving_.
Thanks devs, and good luck!
This mod is fantastic, I just wish there was a version of this that focused on optimizing the vanilla cars
hey i started getting into beamng a while ago and i'm also a gran turismo fan, this is perfect i guess, thank you
Even though I am not a fan of low detailed vehicles in this game since this game is all about details, I will probably make sure to try it out as there are some awesome cars in there that some people may not even think about modding.
I lile this. I like beamng and all, but sometimes I wish I could tone down the physics. This is great.
I have to say. I am very keen for this!
This is literally everything I always wanted in a beamng mod
Damn, you guys even added the Proton Jumbuck that's sweet!
this sounds great exactly what I wanted. but interiors in beamng are one of my favorite things. this mod with a decent quality interiors would be perfect.
Exactly what BeamNG needs, instead of crashable but wobbly cars
Yes, fuel consumption and engine thermals are still enabled
i think it would still be interesting to see the damage to be permanent. what i mean is like the sponge physics but when it deforms it stays deformed. kinda like automation cars. still will check this out when its released though!
Can't wait to drive my way around public roads GT2 style, but with higher graphics than GT2. I'm just gonna send an econobox around mountain roads, can't wait for it 👍
