Just want to say thank you for this video! I'm currently researching involuntary admissions in the BC Mental Health Act and this video was super helpful in answering questions I was having a hard time answering through research on the web so far.

Why are the police involved in suicide attempts where the person does not have a mental disorder and no doctor has examined the person. In case the police are not aware of the amendment to the Criminal Code, SUICIDE IS NO LONGER A CRIMINAL OFFENCE AND HAS NOT BEEN FOR DECADES. This is just one more law where a person's rights are ignored. And then the police enter their actions into a data base that is shared internationally. As a result a woman who was traveling to the US was denied entry because her name appeared in the data base of US Customs. This has got to stop.

Where can a person get legal help? I have been trying to find an attorney but so far I can't get one to hear me out. The wise Dr.s and other health care workers seem to be under the impression that its alright to force a woman using threats of violence to strip naked while a group of strangers stand a few feet away watching and listening to her beg for help. She is left naked, no blanket, nothing. More terrible things happened..... she had that used as a threat of punishment when her pain broke through the chemical restraint and she was crying for help. she has a hard time speaking of the rest, needless to say she has lost 30 lbs, has panic attacks, fights invisible assailants off, she screams, cries, self harms, cannot sleep and is now being humiliated by health care because she cant "get over it" .....this was over her demanding to have her question answered during her intake. I think she will take her life.

You can find one easily if you pay them, and they don't come cheap.
