I bought that same reel and the same size as you have. Mine felt a little tight as I reeled in. Also when I'd open the bail and then want to close it to start reeling I had to give it assistance sometimes (closing the bail by hand). I emailed the company and they asked for a video of the problem. They said it's normal. I've never had a reel that it was so difficult to close the bail by starting to reel. So my experience with the company hasn't been great. I'll still keep the reel and use it, but I had higher expectations for the reel than what I got from it.

Any thoughts now on RUNCL vs Piscifun reels? Also wondered why you loaded braided line on your RUNCL demo for perch. Next time I pass through Charlotte I hope to hook up with you for one of your guide trips. Would have done it last year but didn't realize where you were located until after I got home.
I bought a RUNCL Titan I a couple years ago on Amazon. The thing had amazing reviews so I gave it a try. At first I really liked the reel. A couple months in the bail started popping up when setting the hook and the reel stopped being smooth, catching near the top of the reel rotation. It was only used in my boat and was never in the rain, so not sure what would cause that. I should have returned it but forgot about it after replacing with a Pflueger President for a Canada trip. Recently ripped it apart and greased/oiled everything. Haven't tried it yet, but it no longer seems to stick.
I've got the Runcl scale, and have their braided line on several reels in several different lb test and have had 0 issues. Just got my nephew one of their spinning reels for Xmas for one of his catfish setups, looking forward to seeing how it holds up
I bought some of there mono was 20# test with small diameter. Got on Amazon. I liked it and cast a mile. I will check out there website . Wise advertising sending you a reel.. thanks again Deter
Hey dieter my grandpa passed alway yesterday and he always but the line on my fishing reel for me and he passed alway so I don’t have any body to put line on my fishing reel so I have to learn on my own can you make a video of how to put line on a baitcaster pls and thank you

I have the 5000 and 6000 series of this reel and they are fantastic. They are smooth casting and reeling. The the body is all metal. Both of them have a 44 lb drag with 5 carbon fiber washers. You can spend double the price of these and not do better.

these reels i use for blue gill and crappie for about 2 yrs now i love them. got them on 7ft rods works great. love your show fish on

They sent me the 3000. I would have preferred the 5000 for Catfishing. I agree, it is a good product
