Speaking to Mike's point about people not understanding the need for drugs in bodybuilding, to us it seems like a super foreign concept but if you look at the general population, people still believe guys like The Rock are natural, or that PED use isn't rampant in every single sport that they watch on a regular basis because guys continue to claim natty in other pro leagues.
It's made worse when the bodies that govern testing either aren't strict enough, whether its on purpose or not (looking at you WWE), or the established methods aren't sophisticated enough to give 100% accuracy. Guys like McGregor can take long peroids out of their sport to avoid testing, and then come back when they can pass whatever test. If the authority around the sport says they're clean then it's not the average person's fault for believing it.
@@TheMasterblah follow the money and you figure out really quickly why it’s advantageous for those companies to not test their athletes. And you’re right, I don’t blame the average person for believing what they’re being sold.

Seth is very humble, modest ,and great guy. I live near him and workout at same gym. I witnessed his rise through bodybuilding, and he was special and a phenom . He was the talk of the industry. It was 202 when he came up and dominated, but 202 was too hard for him to make weight and went to open class. Then 202 class become 212. The bodybuilding industry thought it was going to be him and Flex Lewis battling out for Mr Olympia 212 title for years. They both came up same time . Flex stayed at 212 and Seth was open class then did one 212 show but dealt with family issues and left industry before his prime. He would have won 212 Mr Olympia. He was a freak and get shredded with a great physique. Call his condition Feroce shredded.

Many people in other fields use Adderal to perform their best. Like all of the freakin time for many years.
I’ve know many of them. Even in Art school, 18yo would be taking Adderal consistently to be their best. It’s just as dangerous.
In finance, office, warehouse, any other professions. People use weed to perform better as well. Lets be real.
You gotta send your dog to training school I did it and I was super sad while he was gone but it was well worth it. The place I sent my dog they sent you a video every day of his progress me and my wife would watch it together every night and it was incredible what these trainers are capable of. I guarantee you won't regret it

I’m 45 been training since I was 12-15 pretty consistently. I see no need to go over 315 flat bench and I’ve repped it for 15 maybe more.
You should do mild hyperbaric chambers, they can make your kidneys and liver better while also stimulating stem cells throughout your body. I work there and have seen people get rid of all sorts of things and have even seen dogs tumors disappear. I work there, it's called Insideout Hyperbaric and Wellness

Gonna play devils advocate. Cuz honestly the topic about promoting teen bodybuilding on gear CAN involve ethical debate. And let’s be honest the podcast is an echo chamber for one side of the argument. At the very least you could argue that supporting an 18yo geared bodybuilder(let’s be honest he’s more likely than not, not gonna deny he looks amazing though) is essentially saying you’re okay with very very young adults, I mean 18 is still… a teen. Think about porn companies. 18yo are legal, and companies are allowed to hire them. Is it not ethically debatable to be okay or not okay with such young(though legal) individuals to be promoted? Im sure there’s plenty of people who feel uneasy about seeing young porn actresses and their boss saying I don’t care it’s legal and it’s their decision. Also here’s another kicker, do you think a 18yo porn actress wasn’t involved in such work before turning 18? Same with the 18yo on gear, u think he waited till 18? He looks pretty amazing for 18yo and even with really good genetics I think that took more than 1 year. So in a way one could see it supporting such decisions made prior to being an adult. I’m not against you guys but I don’t think it’s so cut and dry. It’s more debatable if there was actually someone there to bring up such points lol.

Some great conversations in the first half of this episode! I love what Seth said about natural bodybuilding, and I'm a 54-year-old natural bodybuilding who's followed the Ifbb pros since the 80s because it's much more exciting and they look a lot freakier!😂😂 I always appreciated the guys that were honest about the drugs like Mike Matarazzo, Platz, and Palumbo. What I do hate though is the guys that use all these drugs and then they preach God all the time like Mark Dugdale, and Derek Lunsford currently. If your body is a temple, you think God would want you to do all that s***🤔 and yes I've watched many young kids and older adults ruin their lives because living the bodybuilding "dream" when they had no genetic potential to begin with.
I do love the discussion of Hadi vs Dex. I actually think Hadi might take him. While Dext had prettier shape (Aesthetics)his lats were quite high and his legs we're not as impressive as Hadi. Especially his calves. Dex had those horrible fake ones back when he was with muscle tech! Hadi 's torso and quads are Nasty while Dexter did have better arms. My 2 cents!
