Fair play Emily really wanted to make sure she'd had a good look at that drawer... ;-) Love the banter and watching the build. Currently planning mine and watching you figure out various options is really useful. 😃
You’re so smart! Love the slider technique. For the deep drawer you can build a little wooden removable tray for cutlery then bigger spoons, spatula etc go underneath.
my van build has had to stop .become of the out brake.but seeing good van builds like your two keeps me going.i hope I can get back on myn soon.keep up the good work
English is my second language, well, I barely speak Spanish properly, and understanding English by ear.... Ñaaaa good enough!! That being said, I love Emily's accent, yours too Lou, but hers has a rythm on its own.
@@campervibe Scottish, Irish and Aussie accents are such a delight from this side of the world and for me. Sussex on the other hand.... Jajajaja, well, hahahahaha. Ever hear a Colombian Woman speaking? Cali or Barranquilla, they almost sing.
@@optomisticostomistsmith501 we don't have hot water as of yet, not sure if we will bother as not having a proper shower. I have heard good things about the trauma unit tho, but I believe it is expensive!
One of the few upsides of this crisis is that there are going to be a lot of cheap vans on sale in the next couple of months. Shame for the poor beggars who are having to sell them though :(
great to see your channel has boomed since you made this video! hope you're enjoying the van! nice to see a budget friendly van video too! I think it appeals to all of us who are skint haha
take that wood off her and slap her with it for all the backchat she gives🤣lol and i never thought I would say this I'm in love with a carpenter❤💋 love you two keeping me entertained for hours catching up on your videos love Dave
someone also stole our milk once so i kept two glass bottles aside and filled them with sour cream and yep they were taken i hope their tea was super special :P
Nice idea with the drawer runners, I've just finished my kitchen unit on my van and honestly shop bought ones are a bit of a faff and you need to be very precise otherwise they don't run well, I might even copy your idea if I do build another van. At the moment I'm at a similar stage to you just had a week off and now all but finished the kitchen unit so its taken me about a month and a bloody half and now with this corona virus it seems like I have even more time for my build. With your drawer runners I'd be tempted to varnish them just to keep them clean, smooth and durable.
It's frustrating because I rushed through some of the early work cos I wanted to get the van finished and get away lol! Good shout on the runners, been suggested to use candle wax as well so I'll do something. Good luck with the rest of your build and thanks for watching 😁👍
Brilliant , I'm sure you will soon hit the 1k subs soon , your content Is great , even if your draw front is a little on the piste 🤣, all part of the fun building as you go , 👍👍
No the giveaway isn't the pencil behind the ear..... it's the constant cups of sugary tea👍.... that's Ninja level chippie. And try not to worry, with your skills all will be well, become a van/camper converter and you will be sorted!
You're clever little thing Lou! Girl after my own heart! I've been showing my human your videos and the great work that you do on your van but she still won't help me with my train set! She won't even help me decorate, she won't drive the car van or boat! I bet you don't have that problem with Emily☹
I built my draw with a simiar wooden runner design but yours is cleverer! I'll copy that next time. Try using some candle wax on the moving parts for a smooth action. You two are funny keep up the banter!

Hi toni, we got ours on amazon actually, although we are getting asked a lot right now so I think there's a shortage. If you mean the carcassing for the kitchen units I used 33 x 33 mm batten from wickes, it may have been 32mm but thereabouts.
