    Sneachta
    Thit sneachta bog bán
    Anuas ón spéir,
Nuair a bhí mé i mo luí
    I mo leaba aréir.
    Tá sneachta bog bán
    Anois i ngach áit,
    Ar gach teach agus sráid,
    Gach crann agus páirc.
    Beidh spórt agus spraoi
    Agam féin is ag Seán
    Ag súgradh inniu
    Sa sneachta bog bán.
    Snow
    Soft white snow fell
    Down from the sky,
    When I was in bed
    On my bed last night.
    The snow is soft white
    Now everywhere,
    On every house and tree,
    Every street and park.
There will be sport and fun
    Myself and John
    Playing today
    In the soft white snow.
