You can also add pigments to the plastic. Poster paint can be used. simply kneed it into the plastic as it cools. Wait till it is cool to to decide if you have enough. If your shade is too dark just add more plastic. It usually takes a lot of paint as the water in the paint does not bind with the plastic. It's better to be too light, as you can bring out the dark shapes with paint afterwards if needed. :P
Food coloring is my #1 safe thing to use for color pigmentation. A few drops in the water dip your molding plastic into it directly works aswell but you will need some gloves😎

I've used something called Cernit myself. If baked at the right length of time, they'll end up with the same color as aged teeth.

@@vquez2783 I have not tried that :) So that would be an external coloring? Do you have to worry about drip edges with too much coloring?
