Hello - did you ever get to try the new model of the ETM-001 with the new DJi firmware? Do you still need to use the extension cord or were you able to get it connected directly? I’m trying to get more ambient sound with my microphone and I feel like the raw mic is not as omnidirectional

Nope, just used the newport nk180 pro mount on same aluminum plate I had before. Just took power pole off

No difference with newer etm-001, however after the firmware updates to mic 2 transmitter and osmo action 4 it's a lot better.
