I am sorry you went through these harsh feelings man... but bear in mind, that there are many environmental factors that affect your speed of doing things. Another thing, you may be slow at learning languages, but quick at soaking up math. You can be slow at certain things, and quick at other things. It is also important to find which learning style suits you specifically for which task. Be calm, be focused and free your mind before approaching a problem/task. Slow thinkers tend to be perfectionists as well, and explore stuff to the smallest of details, or view problems from many different angles. Slow thinkers tend to be deep thinkers and analytical. Very few people are quick and deep thinkers (thats a rare intelligence). Consider many possibilities before jumping to the conclusion that there is a biological component to your lack of efficiency compared to other people. I met a scientist (very high IQs) who never learned how to tank a car. He just couldnt. Amount of common sense lacking by his side was astounding. Beyond that, I’m just setting an intention that I won’t understand this ENTIRE subject by the end of this week, but I will understand how this PART works by the end of this week. I totally feel you bro. I'm always stupidly slow. Let me tell you a story. I got lucky to study at one of the top institutions despite being sluggish. I struggled so badly during the time in that school. Whenever I didn't put effort, I got D or F, absolutely. However, when I tried really really hard, I could be ranked top 1% for the class and understood my subject deeply. However, being slow is still painful. There is a huge problem with the advice: Your success depends on other people being lazy. So what if the smart people around you are already spending all their free time studying? How can you survive? This is usually the case at an advanced level (e.g. top tier college, working at a top tier company like Google, etc.). In any case, I don’t think “working hard” is the right solution. A better strategy is to find out why you are slow and fix the problem. Say you are slow at math. Sure, why? Perhaps you are a visual learner and the professor is a verbal teacher. Then go onto Khan Academy and start learning visually. Or perhaps your brain is just not built for math. Sure, maybe you are meant to be an artist. Find that thing that you love, want to excel, and can excel. Try different ways to learn more efficiently. Once you have done the two steps, then start working as hard as you can. Never start by working hard. You have to know how to work smart and work passionately before you work hard.
Yep this is it! You need to know what your strengths and weaknesses are....when I come back home from school I will try to write down what I lack in school and what I excel in.

i think a love of the learning process helps too. i can remember being so resentful n frustrated i had to put in more work for less result than others, but i think ive learnt more because of i enjoy it. Ive also noticed im a better learner now at 36 solo than i was at 15 in school n this is despite having brain inflammation since 2014 XD i learnt more spanish on duolingo in 3months (b4 i quit) than id done with french at school
I also noticed in my 30's that I was a better learner than when I was in K-12. Particularly numbers and basic mental math processing...that was something I just couldn't "get" the entire time I was in school. But now with a little effort it comes much easier.
I am a slow leaner. But that doesn't mean I am a bad decision maker. I'm actually way above average in most mental things. I'm just terrible at learning new things. So I acknowledge that weakness and plan on giving myself extra time to lean something, or respond to someone. But once the information is in my head I usually see the information at a much higher level. On a standard IQ test my Processing Speed is in the 20th percentile but everything else is above the 95th percentile.
I wish I saw this when I was a student but now I’m in my last year of uni and I wished I had spent more time studying to do well 😭😭 but still this can be used throughout my life so
well, nice tips but I believe there's a classification for slow learner, like slow bc forgetful or slow at understand etc. for slow learner student : don't stop learning new things and repeat it, Im a slow learner too but can studies on Top state universities in my country (even still struggling). take motivation for boost your goals. today Im reaching my 21st, and still aim for mastering Nihongo and Arabic for my 5th and 6th language. fyi: entering state university in my country is damn hard, even money isn't guarantee
I'm an extremely slow learner because I've a thousand ideas at once. I'm trying to learn code but I'm also thinking about black holes and atomic structures but also Humpty Dumpty nursery ryhmes and pornhub. In school we had to do a science fair project and I came back with a massive collection of war stories. a little off topic but it was the best world at war book you'll find. Not science but fuck em.
I am a slow learner, slow reader and I have adhd. I can't remember what I read unless I follow along while the computer reads to me. I feel like I must have a learning disability. I can only do long math problems if I have the formula and step by step instructions in front of me for every single problem. I forget how to do the problem or miss a step or two within minutes of removing the instructions. My working memory does not seem to work very well and my executive functioning appears to be broken.
I think ADHD decreases iq by like 10 points no joke thats also including brain fog that comes with it, (btw i am adhd) but. I tried things like Hypnosis and it turns out I couldn’t get hypnotized at all. I was wondering. Why? Turns out I had an analytical mind but my ADHD is bringing me back from my potential. Also depression is ruining me too. I know I don’t have bad genetics since my brother is a fast learner. Its just that I had gotten this ADHD a while ago, while he hasn’t and he’s very good at competing. Honestly I fucking hate natural selection but with medication u could literally be way better than you are now, But you dont have to take medication because I am not aswell.
Sadly it is true. I also double or even triple the amount of time I plan to devote to an activity compared to averages. Sadly, it works. Sadly, I can't now tell where the rational border is when it comes to distributing the efforts between activities.
I used to learn and never forget what i had learnt, still remember most of the things I learnt in high school. But now a days, takes me hours to learn something and easily forget it the next minute, I need to improve. Any suggestions?

of course i think, you can increase your intelligene through education alone, and through this and this learning concept (active recall, sensorioum, application of knowledge, etc. pp) but sometimes it is really also just that simple... invest more time. This is the conundrum of modern university schedules....
Thank you for sharing this video, i actually have a new prepective to learn something.. not about how fast we learn but we do much effort to become great in the course/subject
My mans, my peers have 60 hours and find success. I have 100+hours in algebra and can't pass any test on god. Should I just quit or kill myself or something cause this shouldn't be possible but I live it everyday.
Life is so unfair. Being a slow learner is horrible. The people that learn quickly + have a good worth ethic are the ones that make all the money. Slow learners usually don't achieve much obviously. I wish I had a high IQ. Life would be so much easier. I could literally be anything or do anything I want, if I had a high IQ. You're not alone Deepak, I hate myself as well.
let me add one more thing slow learner never mean that you are slow in learning every thing, may be you are slow to adopt university or school stuff, but probability are quite high that you might be good at some thing else, may be you don't know what that is, or if you know may be you don't know how valuable it is and how can you use it in right way..
Bro ok u can make effort into 3 times to understand things fast and better ,then what about the situation when somebody knows ur weakness and take advantage of it then
How bout slow learner in working environment? Pretty hard to survive, youll be left behind and ppl will change u to other places or been identified as not performer and suddenly getting low in rating or even u may get remove from the company at the end...whts ur advice then? Even sometimes we ve already try harder....hurmmm
I understand. Here's what you can do: 1. Don't map yourself to others - map yourself to your next milestone. 2. Now you know your next milestone and the timeline to it. Further you know your capacity of being able to absorb only 2-3 hours of content in a day. Make your schedule accordingly. There are days you will have to stretch yourself. Unlike IQ which is largely natural, stretching yourself is a choice and skill.

@@SikhLambo wait I'm watch some videos of it, maybe it will help
I always hate myself when it comes to studies
Does it gonna work ?
You don't know how dumb i am
You not dumb.
Your English is bad
@@stockdoc9384 how many languages do you speak? His English is not bad, he made one mistake
You ,may be good at other things , every one has a unique qualities ,studying something to get knowledge gain something from it ,dont judge your self base on your studies .
Hey! Plz build your confidence and never hate yourself. 😇
Beautifully explained!!!
i think a love of the learning process helps too. i can remember being so resentful n frustrated i had to put in more work for less result than others, but i think ive learnt more because of i enjoy it.
Ive also noticed im a better learner now at 36 solo than i was at 15 in school n this is despite having brain inflammation since 2014 XD i learnt more spanish on duolingo in 3months (b4 i quit) than id done with french at school
Absolutely!
I also noticed in my 30's that I was a better learner than when I was in K-12. Particularly numbers and basic mental math processing...that was something I just couldn't "get" the entire time I was in school. But now with a little effort it comes much easier.
I’m 22 years old and even now I’m a slow learner this is embarrassing and I always had trouble with school
Wow am not alone
thanks...i was just doubting myself....u just boosted my confidence
I am literalky slow at everything including studies, sports and more i might even suspect myself to have adhd
On a standard IQ test my Processing Speed is in the 20th percentile but everything else is above the 95th percentile.
i was a slow learner. but then i started listening to subliminals and meditation music to reprogram my subconscious. and it really works
Does it?
Bro subliminals are like a last hope.
I wish I saw this when I was a student but now I’m in my last year of uni and I wished I had spent more time studying to do well 😭😭 but still this can be used throughout my life so
How u were going to improve from slow to fast learner if u had enough time earlier?
I’m a slow learner I focus hard on work and what the teacher is saying I’m mostly bad at math bc I hate maths sooooooooooooooooooo much
well, nice tips
but I believe there's a classification for slow learner, like slow bc forgetful or slow at understand etc.
for slow learner student :
don't stop learning new things and repeat it, Im a slow learner too but can studies on Top state universities in my country (even still struggling). take motivation for boost your goals. today Im reaching my 21st, and still aim for mastering Nihongo and Arabic for my 5th and 6th language.
fyi: entering state university in my country is damn hard, even money isn't guarantee
@Big Smoke I'm in the matrix too
@Big Smoke as long as it takes brother
Another tip is to study ahead for a topic in class so you can grasp the knowledge easily.
Happy learning wish u success 🙏
The problem is that our teacher give us tests right after the lecture
Sadly it is true.
I also double or even triple the amount of time I plan to devote to an activity compared to averages. Sadly, it works. Sadly, I can't now tell where the rational border is when it comes to distributing the efforts between activities.
I used to learn and never forget what i had learnt, still remember most of the things I learnt in high school. But now a days, takes me hours to learn something and easily forget it the next minute, I need to improve. Any suggestions?
Hi guys
Let me tell u important point and a secret about sllow learners.
I remember a guys who were in my class .he was very smart guys and sucses full guys at subject with little try he was in top
Hear then
HE CHANGED A SLLOW LEARNERS WTF
I AM SURE HE CHANGEC TO SLLOW LEARS .I SWEAR .BUT HOW .
I THINK WHEN SOME PEOPLE DO SOME ACTIONS THEY TRANSFORM TO SLLOW LEARNERS
INSIT THISE ACTION WE MUST FIND A WAY TO CURE SLLOW LLEARNING .THERE IS A WAY TO CURE
Thank you so much sir...
It took me to learn what it would take a computer scientist at the very least three decades of experience in a matter of days
So it cannot be changed🤦 Putting more effort works but sometimes I really need to understand a topic in class.. Thanks for the video at least I know I'm not the only one ugh
of course i think, you can increase your intelligene through education alone, and through this and this learning concept (active recall, sensorioum, application of knowledge, etc. pp)
but
sometimes it is really also just that simple... invest more time. This is the conundrum of modern university schedules....
This video helped me a lot especially cuz all my class mates call me slow and retarted
No don't quit keep working
I am slow Learner and due to this i hate myself too much 😖☹️
Life is so unfair.
@@Ivan-vw1bw
I want to off myself, living like this is not worth it.
I started my class in my vacation time.because I'm a slow learner.after 2 months I have only studied 2 chapters .😭
I m slow learner since i was 6 years old noe im at adult age still slow learner
My comprehensions is really slow, I'm listening at the slowest rate which RUclips allows, my processing is going into overdrive! 😭
My class is the bottom class of our grade, it’s for people who learn very slow, the teacher teach slowly and run through it again too
Great sir, thank you so much.
Same as me
Thanks for the video! It gave me some power.
let me add one more thing slow learner never mean that you are slow in learning every thing, may be you are slow to adopt university or school stuff, but probability are quite high that you might be good at some thing else, may be you don't know what that is, or if you know may be you don't know how valuable it is and how can you use it in right way..
You are talking about me
I am slow
Full of brain fog
If you read 1 page in 1 minute
I do it in 10 minutes for example..
I can relate to you
This is so relatable to me on a daily basis that it hurts 😭
True
Plz somebody help me am slow learner....am reading but not understanding
thank u.. i definitely need to invest more time .. in study.. because i cant follow in class too
What if that other person doesn't study and does not ever rest how would you double the time?🤔
I dont even know if I am even a learner or not
... I am just way too dumb
can't tell if I'm a slow learner or just studying ineffectively
Finding a job is hard
But what to do when the quick learners work all the day?
How can I study 2 days in one day?
I want to cry, man... 😞
Starting early to study and stay consistent, this is the only way for slow learners like us
@@nowie4007 They also start studying early and stay consistent!
Iam a slow learner and we have the same idea
Thanks bro you inspired me a lot to keep studing :)
I am suffering from the same problem 🥺
Today I studied full day still I did not complete a single topic
Sure learner😇
Very helpful thank you
Thank you!
I used to think I was a slow learner, but I realized I was just stupidd.
Thanks for this video
Bro ok u can make effort into 3 times to understand things fast and better ,then what about the situation when somebody knows ur weakness and take advantage of it then
Anakin should watch this.
this is so relatable i want to try my best
I always forget place......😢
What if we dont have time😫
I have an exam on friday and i dont have time to learn
Well done brother
How bout slow learner in working environment? Pretty hard to survive, youll be left behind and ppl will change u to other places or been identified as not performer and suddenly getting low in rating or even u may get remove from the company at the end...whts ur advice then? Even sometimes we ve already try harder....hurmmm
Thanks !
❤ thank you
Well said.
Sir I am very slow at learning it's like my 5 hours = their 2 hours what should I do now?help
Very inspierational
I understand your view but , when you have a limited time. You sure would regret being a slow learner. I do understand things but it takes time.
I don't know if you believe in God. Let's both pretend that God exists for merely a second. Why do you think God created slow learners/Low IQ people?
Wonderful explanation👍
Thanks alot bro ☺
thanks
Well said sir 👍
My twin sis is a fast learner and she barely studies 😩
This is totally me :(
U gr8 sir
So what is the solution??
Fair enough
can a malnutritioned child study? would he able to understand the concepts of learning.
Brain slow

=failed many subjects
