Spotlight On...Valerie Simpson

One half of the legendary songwriting duo Ashford and Simpson, Valerie's iconic songs -"Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "You're All I Need To Get By," and "I'm Every Woman," just to name a few-are among American pop music's most beloved. Valerie sat down with us to talk about the songwriting process, her approach to live performance, and how these things have evolved over her celebrated career.
