    thanks for the review on this projector, it would be nice if you could do a vs review with the danbei Mars pro 4k and Xgimi horizon pro 4k

      I'll see if I can find a contact at either company for review hardware.

    500nits is a pretty wild claim. On a 100" 1.1gain white screen Calman said 77.5nits.

      looks like you're stuck in the bs loop too. it's not a 4k or an xpr 4k projector, its 1080p!

      @@Whitefox-pc7lp It's really not, where did you hear/see that? If you put it up next to a 1080p projector it's clearly 4x the resolution.

      @@TheHookUp I bought one, but cancelled my order due to other reviewers, purchasers, reddit etc..not being able to select 3840*2160 as the recommended or native resolution on a PC, it'll state that its not supported. Even tek syndicates PC section of his review was showing 1080p 60hz

      @@Whitefox-pc7lp I know this may be a surprise, but some people on Reddit have zero idea what they're talking about and just spew BS. Why would you trust some random person on Reddit over people who clearly have the product in hand, have thoroughly tested it, and have background knowledge and experience? Just to be 1000% sure, I just hooked my PC up to the Paris Rhone, 4k60hz, no issue. I can't post a link in the comments of someone else's channel but I took a picture and linked it on the comment you made on my video.
      Maybe worse than just trusting someone on reddit for your own decision is the fact that you are now going around and posting misinformation in the comments section of videos when you yourself have never even seen the projector in person.

      @@TheHookUp Honestly if that is the case, I'll take the loss and go apologize and correct my statements on every channel. As it is I'm still questioning whether or not Paris rhone has done something with the programming on the main board of that projector to "state" that it's outputting 4k. What other single LCD 4k projector is on the market? Their whole website seems like a scam with the pop up savings wheel and count down timers.
      Regardless, I apologize to you good sir and thanks for putting in the work.

    what's this like in day light use

  • @ngwee1
    @ngwee1 6 месяцев назад

    Its brightness is 600L. Are we using the same unit of measurement that other manufacturers are doing when they claim, e.g., their brightness is 3000+L?

    • @RONderluck
      @RONderluck 5 месяцев назад

      I measured the brightness of mine and I was getting 541L at most .

    you better remake this video my friend , this projector is not even shifted pixel projector , you want probe?? go ahead and connected to a PC with a 4k graphic card like NVIDIA RTX or AMD RX RADEON , the maximum resolution you will get is 1080p so It's 1080p and accepts a 4k signal. It's not native 1080p and doesn't have a dlp pixel shifter. It's just an lcd panel inside like that you would find in a smartphone

      100% yes it is 4K. It's not build like a traditional projector. These cheaper projectors are single LCD meaning they use an LCD panel similar to how DIY PERKS built his projector. This uses a BOE display likely intended for VR headsets or similar. The biggest cons of projectors like this are color gamut not being as good as others.

    • @RONderluck
      @RONderluck 5 месяцев назад

      Yes it is native 4k

  • @bryanp4827
    @bryanp4827 9 месяцев назад +2

    NOT NATIVE 4K! It's only true 4k like every other pixel shifter...

    • @HomeTheaterHobbyist
      @HomeTheaterHobbyist  9 месяцев назад +1

      Are you sure? Where do you see it is pixel shift? I'm not trying to argue or get in an argument, I want to make sure this video is accurate.

      @@HomeTheaterHobbyistit's a 1080p and not even sure if will display 4k which accepts a 4k signal...the cheapest NATIVE 4k projector is the Sony XW 5000...

    • @bryanp4827
      @bryanp4827 9 месяцев назад

      These are the facts, as tested by a reviewer...
      The projector’s main selling point, its “True 4K UHD” resolution, is somewhat misleading. Each input I tried showed a native resolution of 1080p. While a 4K signal can be accepted, it appears downsampled.
